My review: This captured me as soon as I started playing with the controls - I enjoy the smooth transitions as I the object moves around the screen. Were you inspired to try something creative with trig functions? What other things could you do with similar math applications that would achieve something different? It seems like you are pretty advanced, perhaps you could think of a way to turn this interaction into a challenge/race/competition/game?
Thanks! I was inspired by a game called Knuckleheads by Nitrome. It is a game in which each "head" flips over the other in a scrolling environment, and if the green touches a purple enemy you take damage, and if it hits a green enemy you destroy it. You get points based on number of enemies defeated coupled with a bonus multiplier based on the energy of the last motion taken and time remaining. Glad you liked it! Trig is fun, and I taught myself entirely through Scratch!
very smooth motion. I haven't downloaded it yet, but I imagine the calculations to get something that looks so simple to move so realistically is quite complex.
How's it going, cyclone? Anyways, I love trig too! I'd like to make more projects than I have on the website now, (0 as of the current. I don't really have any things I made with trig that are truly impressive. Yet.) It's just that I haven't been working with scratch for a while, either. I've been working on my game, "Explosive Racing".

I know. Just set the maximum velocity to a lower number (check the stage)

oh and another problem with your game is that, well play it and hold down the right arrow key for 10 secons then watch

I know, I did not impose a low enough turn limit.

you don't need to use that much math though

Actually, you do. I tried many other ways, and all failed.

Before Scratch, I knew little about trig. Scratch is both fun and useful!

i like this. the motion is very good and is not very glitchy. I like this. very simple though!

Albeit it is a bit complex, most of that stuff is just placement and velocity. If we had the comment block, I could have explained each bit of code.

Lol, there are many adult scratchers who aren't part of the Scratch team. For example, Paddle2See is an adult, but he is not part of the Scratch team.

I can practically guarantee that within two weeks on Scratch you will hear of him lol!
