This is a remix of ericr's remix of my auto mosaic generator. This program creates an 8 bit greyscale mosaic of the background image. In addition to giving ericr's program a greyscale range, I've decreased the sprite size from 20 to 16 pixels square.
You can download the program and replace the flower background with any black and white image to create your own photomosaic.

Oops, 8-bit isn't the right way to explain the greyscale. I think it's technically 3-bit?? Oh well.
so awesome! do you know about turbo mode? That's handy for testing things like this. It only works in the scratch application. Shift-click on the extras menu, and click "set single stepping..." then click "turbo speed."
