Put red and blue at same values and you get purple LOL

Red Amp.: 38 Red wavelength:2.2 Red P. Step:10.8 + Blue Amp.:41 Blue Wavelength: 0.275758 Blue P. Step:21.2 = COOL!

im AWESOME!

glassdragon glassdragon 2 years ago

Blue and Red Amplitude at -49, Blue and Red Wavelength at 1.6, R.P.S at 4.6, and B.P.S. at 4.8! It looks cool!

glassdragon glassdragon 2 years ago

Well, it works, gets messed up, and then works again.

glassdragon glassdragon 2 years ago

ARGH IT'S MESSED UP NOW.

homestarfan homestarfan 2 years ago

yeah your right *stares at screen*

glassdragon glassdragon 2 years ago

Everything minimum is purple and green! :D

R.A. 70, R.W. 3, R.P.S. 1, B.A. -70, B.W. 3, B.P.S. 1 is like a weird spinning thing with an ever-so-slightly bending bar in front.

glassdragon glassdragon 2 years ago

LOL-R.A.: -49, R.W.: 2.3, R.P.S.: 1.9, B.A. 49, B.W. 0.1, B.P.S. 35!

pure brilliance! very good stuff and well demonstrating that individial particles stay in one place :) I used this project in my Physics lesson :)

What's the IEEE?

Coolyouth79 Coolyouth79 2 years ago

IEEE is a atmospherical, astronomical, ehh, I don't know; i just used this for a conference.

Red Amp. 57, Red Wave. 2.6, Red P.S. 1; Blue Amp. 70, Blue Wave. 0.825, Blue P.S. 10.5 is COOL!

glassdragon glassdragon 2 years ago

And all that only with B.P.S. at 1.

Harakou Harakou° 2 years, 2 months ago

Red Amplitude 64, Red Wavelength 3, red period step 1, Blue amplitude 70, blue wavelength 1.6 It looks like it's spinning. (To me)

glassdragon glassdragon 2 years ago

OHMYGOSH IT LOOKS LIKE A HORIZONTAL SPINNING DNA MODEL WITHOUT THE BARS IN BETWEEN THE TWO SPIRAL LINE-THINGIES!!! O.O Yes, I don't know my DNA terminology.

Try various wavelengths with Blue Amplitude to -8, Red Amplitude to 8, and both Period Steps at 35.

Coolyouth79 Coolyouth79 2 years, 9 months ago

thank you!

nicolsona nicolsona 2 years, 9 months ago

Uh, I set Wavelength SMALLER, the waves get LONGER. Am I missing something, or do you need to rename variables or change the script (maybe use one-over-wavelength?). Also, when I INCREASE the ones you call Period Step, the period (time for one up-down cycle) gets SMALLER. You have hidden Period variables, but they don't seem to hold the Periods either - they just grow. Such a great project, friend - only trying to help you with those picky IEEE types (Er, like me...). From UK.

Coolyouth79 Coolyouth79 2 years, 9 months ago

the period step is how fast time is changing, not time for one up-down cycle

Brennica Brennica 2 years, 9 months ago

try amplitude -70 wavelength 3 and period step 35 for both colors itas awesome!

Do this: Red amplitude = -70. Red wavelength = 3. Red period step = 1. Same for blue.

Greenatic Greenatic 2 years, 9 months ago

Gosh, that's REALLY cool, that combination!

kgordon kgordon 2 years, 9 months ago

Thanks for the tip, that looks cool.

DarthPickley DarthPickley 2 years, 9 months ago

yes and I don't think you can be blamed if anyone doesn't like it if anything happens it should be the moderator's fault for not obeying the "rules" not yours because you are good person but I have question are you REALLY a doody hater as homestarfan claims?

No one should even try making a comment waiting for a reply, cause you know you're not getting one, right? Yeah... Well, if you didn't now you do. If you did, screw you. jk

homestarfan homestarfan 2 years, 9 months ago

he never checks his messages, and its to much of a birden for him to even delete or stop them

DarthPickley DarthPickley 2 years, 9 months ago

but I like its special style for representation in real-time and stuff

homestarfan homestarfan 2 years, 9 months ago

he won't know that you think that, he thinks scratch is boring (and he's a doody hater)

(view all replies)
DarthPickley DarthPickley 2 years, 9 months ago

quite similar in theory to MY featured project, Wave Harmonics v1 (link to project) coincidence? I am not sure...

Coolyouth79 Coolyouth79 2 years, 9 months ago

only difference is mine is real-time...

Coolyouth79 Coolyouth79 2 years, 9 months ago

no, i used this project too represent wave interference at the IEEE junior engineering conference, and scratch day at columbia university.

i come on now, now that i'm gaining popularity, and there's comments to reply too.

(view all replies)
DarthPickley DarthPickley 2 years, 9 months ago

neither did I. but you said that coolyouth thought scratch was boring.

DarthPickley DarthPickley 2 years, 9 months ago

like Java, which is what scratch projects need to be translated into kind of (in a complicated process) to be able to run online. I myself have considered using other things than scratch to program but that hasn't been very successful in starting yet. I agree with coolyouth very much. and I wouldn't quit scratch either of course, and it isn't at all boring. just... slow. kind of like archmage but i am not as great at programming as that.

(view all replies)
DarthPickley DarthPickley 2 years, 9 months ago

yeah... that is kind of true you know. scratch is really simple and really limited and non-advanced, which is well known by many advanced scratchers. the only things that make it really good is its sharing feature, remixing, easy-to-use-and-learn-ness, community stuff like that, and the ability to influence development as well, and that it is free. but if you are a really serious programmer, you would use some other language.

(view all replies)
homestarfan homestarfan 2 years, 9 months ago

i think you know who did this

Coolyouth79 Coolyouth79 2 years, 9 months ago
