adding on to newareagle for variables, it is helpful to have a [change (variable=) type to (type=)] and [show][hide] variable blocks and <click (sprite=)?> block
It would be nice if you could further adjust the variables size and type (slider, large readout, etc).
Maybe a change variable _____ to _______ ,and a set variable _______ size to __
I know this is ridicoulous, but rather quit cool at the same time...a block that sawaps scripts! Example, swap script (#) with script (#) from sprite().
a "disable sprite(#)'s scripts for (X amount of seconds,
block would be nice. and then one restart all the scripts of that sprite would be very helpful as well.
Are you talking about maxspeed, because if so, this is how you do it. Set Maxspeed to X. Forever if X/Y Velocity > Maxspeed, set X/Y veolcity to Maxspeed.
What about a if sprite X is Xing sprite? Or maybe a sprite (then a scroll down menu? Or a broadcast command where you can put a variable in the what to broadcast.
An easy way to get rid of a variable you don't want (show or hide)is to create a sprite that will forever go to front and place it in front of the variable.
BTW - you could have kept the old comments by sharing the project again, making sure the name was the same. It would then replace the old project and keep all the comments. But, on the other hand, you got front page exposure again by making it a new project.
Yes! However, hidden and shown aren't strictly neccessary, just make a variable that tracks the show and hide. I love stamp over and draw over, but <I recieve> just wouldn't work because receiving a broadcast is not a boolean action, like <key space pressed?> which is either true or false. Did you make this in Squeak?

The ability to clone a Sprite would be very useful. I would also be nice to be able to destroy individual (and possibly all) clones.

Cool! I've often thought that it would be a bit easier with the <I recieve> block... and the |Clear __'s marks| block is a good idea too.
