Thanks! I was browsing the website, and I saw a project that had that feature. I wondered how to do it, so I downloaded it and found it. It used a (round ( )) formula if you're interested.
Thank you! I didn't come up with the colors, though... I used a Wikipedia article to make sure I had all the shapes, and I just thought I'd use the same colors as a diagram.
Download the 19 sprites and 145 scripts of "Pentominoes" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
This is the classic Pentominoes game. The goal is to fit all the pieces into the grid of your choice. But as the grids get flatter, there are less solutions... Mouse to drag and drop, Space to rotate, X to flip.
*Winners*
Parcheesidude won the 6 by 10 grid.
-Vizard- won the 3 by 20 grid. Amazing, considering the fact that there are only two solutions.
Note: Online it's really glitchy, though it's not my fault... it's just classic stickiness. It works slightly better when downloaded, but not by far.
*What are Pentominoes?*
Pentominoes are shapes that are made by piecing together five squares. There are twelve different shapes possible, not counting flipped versions of the same shape.
There are also Hectominoes, Septominoes, Octominoes, and infinite more.

Yes, it's very hard. ;)
Almost beat the 3x20, I just couldn't get one thing to fit xD Fun and addicting, gets a love-it and fav!
Deleted the comment as you suggested. Good idea!
No. Sorry for being unclear. I always have one piece that I can't fit in.
(view all replies)I always have one extra piece...
(view all replies)Very fun even though it's glitchy
Yes, very glitchy. Even when downloaded!
Beautiful. Wow!
Cool! This is awesome! I love pentominos!
I've seen Trigon in several shops (I'm not sure if the name is the same), but I don't have it. And I do like the way it snaps to the grid.
You have Blokus? Wow! I have it too! The pieces look like candy. :)
(view all replies)Same! I don't have a wooden set, though. I was reading a math book, and I came across a chapter on shapes.
(view all replies)I made the sequel, Nature Warriors 2, The Tsunami Prosecutor
P.S. I made a game called Nature Warriors 1, The Lightning Thief
I DID IT! Please put me on the leaderboard -parcheesidude

(view all replies)This is really fun, and keeps your brain working. I havn't solved it yet, but maybe I will come back and try again!
No pressure! I've spent a while on it, but no victory came...
Right, I'll have a section on winners. If you win, drop a comment and you'll get in.
Good luck!
This is beautiful!
Did you manage to win?
