This is a quick project I made, but I think it's not bad... I would have rather had a non-list/variable display, but it would go too fast for you to read. At least the list lets you scroll up and look at the numbers.

lol, type in 0 and nothing comes up but it says length:1 and then run it and it says length 2 but theres nothing on the list LMAO

I got infinity offline using 0. Online i crashed the game using 0 but got 290 by using 1010109.
Sorry... I think I told it not to accept a zero as the first digit. But the online player has a problem anyway. :)

I have found no number pattern yet, but here is the list for 10s going up. Here is the list. Oh yeah, please reply back if you find a pattern. 7, 8, 19, 9, 25, 20, 15, 10, 18, 26, 114, 21, 29, 16, 16, 11, 11, 19, 107, 27 and that is up to the number 200. I will report back after I try the ones up to 20.

I have a book called Math for Smarty-Pants, which has lots of fascinating ideas. There was a chapter on looping, and this was in it.
(view all replies)Could you maybe make a list for, say, the shortest loops for numbers greater than 100? If so I got 8 with 128.
It would take a lot of effort.
The shortest that the program is capable of processing is 1048576, with a loop of 21.

I got: Never ending, I got up to 1043 and then quit cause it would have just kept going, and going, and going =P
It goes up to 40, because it multiplies by three and adds one. Otherwise it would keep on multiplying.

This is sooo awesome! I'm not that good at maths but I think complex would understand. Maybe we could work together on a project sometime. You do the programming then I add the animation...
