hello, i am ChaoticD and i am working with Bobfredproduction, Deltalord, The_Flaming_Duck, and frazzz. THANK YOU, and i hope you enjoy the NEW DEMO of ORBITAL SHIFT 2. this is taking part in the scratch olympics by technoman. do not download, copy, use, remix or any other form of download unless you are a DG GAMES MEMBER. i hate scarry games but it looks fun :)

(view all replies)Pretty good, but nothing really happens... after that one thing, there's no more real gameplay. I suggest that, even though this kind of engine seems to work for you, that you look into making an engine that uses sensing. I bet that you could make a pretty smooth raycaster.
hmmm, i like this engine better than raycasting. plus, this is the prologue and its a demo

Amazing work, you'll be tough to beat, lol. Its good, I like the graphics, the alien seems a bit lacking and unimpressive, compared to the other graphics. But all in all its good. I'd make the elevator animation faster though, the bars going down are a good idea, they are just too slow. Can't wait to see more!
lol the aliens from the original version i made and even i was unimpressed with it, srry lol

oh ya ur right, its based on dead space downfall that manga movie that came out in 2008. the thing is dead space came out in 08 and it usually takes 4 years 2 make a game! so ya of coarse it based on a movie WITH A SUBTITLE THAT CAME OUT AFTER THE GAME
its not over the shoulder, also it draw inspiration from alien, dead space wasnt al that original in the first place it was all taken frm event horison smart guy

lol the guy in the beginning is a variation of isaac, the guy in Dead Space that is sent to repair the asteroid mining ship but encounters zombies called necromorphPr

i know, its the prologue, prologues have alot of talking. there isnt any talking for the rest of the game.
