This is a full raytracer written in Scratch that supports ambient, diffuse, and phong lighting, light occlusion and a single level of reflection.
Running this program requires a lot of patience since it can take several hours to render the scene with the pen size set to 2.
This was a lot of fun to write. I think the Scratch team has done a wonderful job in developing such an extinsible language.

use turbo mode
Canthiar you should make it so that the balls are in random places each time.
play in turbo mode, by shift + clicking the green flag, then it makes it in a few seconds on pen size 1!

It looks really really good on pen size 1 turbo mode. (click green flag using shift+left click.)

Wow! Try shift-clicking in the new Flash player on pen size 1. It renders in about 3 minutes!
i tryed to tell everybody about it.
Shift-clicking the green flag runs the Flash turbo speed.
this is cool
It only takes 20 minutes or so on pensize 3.
I downloaded version 1.3
pensize 1 takes over 4 hours
Use turbo mode (Shift+Click the green flag).
That is pure genius.

Great, but too long. Anyway it's worth it!
A great way to do things quicker is click Edit then Set Single Stepping... and then click Turbo Speed. That's what I'm doing now.
