I just played for the first time and I got one hundrad and six. thanks for makeing this game and I only in the summer holidays learned how to play crib and I have known how to play solitar for at lest four years. I would like you to make more different stiles of solitar. thanks agin your friend Tamsi.
Uploaded a new version today. I made a change based on my friend Andre's suggestion that he wanted to see the individual hand scores on the screen during the counting process. I also fixed a bug that happens when pressing the green flag after playing the first game. It was incorrectly switching the counting method back to "slow". -- Still 15 scripts! ;)
Well, this game is pretty pointless unless you already know how to play Cribbage (the regular card game). So, go learn how to play that game, then come back and have some fun. (By the way, Cribbage really is the best card game ever invented. Seriously.)
Uploaded a new version today. I added a check box to speed the computer up when counting hands. The trick, of course, was to add this new feature without adding any new scripts--the game has 15 scripts, which I find totally ironic. Well, I found a way to do it! It may not be the optimal way to add a new check box, but, like I said, I didn't want to add any new scripts. :D
Thanks. I doubt that this game will be as popular as any of my other games. I just don't think too many people play Cribbage. But, seriously, I play this game MUCH more than any other game on the Scratch web site.
Great game! I know what I had was buggy, but you have to remember that I was working before Lists were available. I spent so much effort on the Shuffling and dealing mechanisms that I didn't get back to the game itself. I am humbled by your efforts here. Now my 6 year old son is having fun with Scratch, so I don't know how much I will be able to create advanced stuff :+)
You had posted that game over a year ago. I'm glad you're still around. Thanks for making that game. Like I said, I had so much fun with it, I had to remix it!
This is a remake of a game by mdusoe. I loved his game so much, but it had a few bugs in it so I fixed it up... (well, to be honest, only his code for counting 15s remains--brilliant stuff!)
The goal, of course, is to top 121 points (a full Cribbage game). If you beat the game, you'll see a nice display!
When the game is over, click the green flag to play again.
Enjoy. I know I will! (I play this game more than all other scratch games combined--except pinball!)
P.S. I get 2 points for the scripts (get it? Ha!) :D
Version 1.1:
Added an option so the computer would count the hands quicker. If you are familiar with how hands are counted and just want to speed the game up, click the box.

Um... wow. I just got the lowest score I've ever gotten: 65. :(
I LUV SOLITARIE!!!
Then you'll like my newest game (link to project)
In the real game of cribbage, you are dealt 6 cards and you put 2 in the crib.
You are right. However, this is not a real game of cribbage... it is Cribbage Solitaire.
(view all replies)I didnt get it so well, but I got 55 :)
4 but I dont get it at all x]
I usually do best if I throw all of my 7's and 8's in the crib.
123 on first try!
Nice! Did you like the "win" screen?
(view all replies)I got 67. I am not that good apparently.
I got 84. This is fun!
Finally won today after playing at least 20 games in a row without winning. This game is winnable but hard.
I got 86 for my first try
Every time the cut card is a 5, I'm happy. :D
Same here.... :o)
96 on first try. that good?
That's pretty good! Now, if you get 121 or more, you'll see a nice display!
61 on my first try. Is that good?
Not bad. I typically get around 100 (+/- 20).
I keep thinking cabbage.
But, cabbage is WAAAAAY less fun than Cribbage!

have you ever heaard of golf solitaire and Klondike solitaire?
Sure, I've heard of them. I have an idea... why don't you remix this project and turn it into one of those games? Go for it!
(view all replies)EVERYONE! PRESS LOVE IT!!!

BoltBait you are awesome!
My total score was 29.Is that good?
The average score for a single cribbage hand is 7 or 8.
(view all replies)I think this game might have a couple of glitches, I had a crib of an ace a king a 9 and a 10 and it gave me points for pairs.
You have to include the cut card in with each hand that is being scored. Maybe your cut card paired a card in your crib.
