This is my version of the classic game Hangman.
Every time you play this game you'll get a different set of words. It includes over five hundred words in its dictionary.
You can enter your guess either by using the on-screen keyboard or your own computer's keyboard.
v1.1
Fixed a bug with the keyboard and added about 100 phrases.
v1.2
Rewrote the keyboard widget to eliminate timing issues.
v1.4
Rewrote it for Scratch version 1.4. It should be very easy for you to add words to the dictionary now. Enjoy!
NOTE: The only way to win this game is to click the "Love It" link. ;)

kool but some things you put in are hard to understand.
That is the nature of computer programming. Once you learn more about Scratch all will become clear.

I made one of these! I had it so you could type in the word for another person so it was like multiplayer. It was kinda.. well if you used symbols or spaces it'd glitch. But this stamps the letters down like mine did!

"paint" can be a noun or a verb. For example, "James, paint the barn."

it keeps on giving me the same one. you should give it better randomizeing. its probably like im saying its a bad game, but its really good!
i found a glitch. it says lets try another word,i click the green flag, and the saying sticks.

Keep at it. It's not easy, but it is winnable.
P.S.- I played a bit later from my last comment, and when I did, it was 5 letter thing. I guessed C, which was the first letter. Then I guessed H, which was the second. I got the word "chalk" without messing up at all! XD
How did you get 1.4? Everytime I go to the download page, it still says it would download 1.3.1

really awesome game totally in my favorites
GREAT project! Very enjoyable online, but when I downloaded it to my Scratch 1.3.1 it doesn't display the dashes for the letters, or the letters entered from the keyboard. Have I got a glitch here, or is it a Scratch version problem? I've just started using Lists so it's interesting to see how other people use them. Thanks!

Actually, there are half that. The dictionary list contains 1100 entries and each word takes up 2 slots. So, there are 550 puzzles.
