Works really nice, pretty decent code!
One bug found, the ball spun around the paddle and then fell down. Don't really know why but for a challenge you could try to figure it out. :D
It starts out a bit slow, but after you clear a couple levels it quickly gets challenging. There are some good examples in the scripts which use the tricky parts of Scratch coding.
Download "BreakIt"(14 sprites and 30 scripts) and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
The paddle follows your mouse cursor.
Just keep the ball in the air, and clear all of the blocks. Each time you complete a row, the ball speeds up. Extra ball every ten levels.
V1.1 adds more blocks, and the paddle gets a bit smaller each level. Also, I fixed the problem where the ball sticks to the paddle.
Enjoy.
