Yeah, it does what it's supposed to and it's not super inefficient. One thing I would change though is get rid of the wait until and make the forever loop a forever if loop.
Actually Messd002, the y speed variable in this project DOES represent a velocity. My script is slightly longer because it can also move left and right. I can see that these scripts do achieve the desired effect so I would say that these scripts are worth using.
Interesting how your project compares to archmages sprite movement done right. Both are effective. I admit your method uses less scripts than using velocitys. It would be interesting to see what archmage and the others say to this
