works much better online than off. Ive also been experimenting with 3d, but ive decided im best off just generating a mod that does not work in realtime, and making separate costumes. With my 3d work, i use a brodcast tool, and ink with no repeats to create objects, but no matter what technique one uses, they will almost definitaly encounter a lag.
vry good job. this creates and interesting effect. I think this is probably the only viable option for filled "3D" faces. good job (both you and keroro)
Back then, I thought it was impossible to do realtime 3D rendering with textures in Scratch, but this very impressive project proves that you can do it! Amazing...
Woah. That's awesome. I'm not sure how no one thought of that before, but now that I think of it, I would have no idea how to make the slices... Still. Awesome work.
Marvelous! You could call it "topographic rendering", if it doesn't already have a name. Very cool. Getting the slices is the hardest part...I suppose you could use playdoh and a knife, if you wanted to go low tech :)
Experiment in realtime 3d rendering. Inspired by keroro645's 3d person: (link to project)
(I used blender. more details if people are interested.)
Please love it if you do!

coooooooooooool!!!
kool is it supposed to be some type of pokemon?
hehe, no, it's Suzanne the monkey head. It's a sample 3d model that comes with Blender, the 3d program I used to make the slices.
(view all replies)AWESOME hey would u like 2 help creating a game totally 3d like ms flight simulator
awesome! I would have used google sketchup. But this is a lot better!
Thanks!
Yeah, sketchup is a great tool for many things too, but it doesn't have boolean operations to make slices.
(view all replies)very very smart
cool
AWESOME!!!
How did you export the layers using blender? I might make a game like this.
Oh its the blender monkey head
Wait, what is that thing?
lol, it broke its self! the layers got mushed up.
man, how long did that take to make with all those layers?
its the monkey head from blender!!!
kan u post the link fur me 2 open this in blender?
nice!
Would you mind helping me out a bit with blander before I leave? you have been recommended by others.
blender, not blander.
(view all replies)I have tried to use Blender but I really don't get it. Could you help me please?!
wow! How did you do that?! Its so smooth!
fun
Incredible!
wow
Whoa, like, neato! :D
is this face from blender?
u should have a competition with NXTGeek

hm, I made that project (keroro654's) faster but that might be a tiny bit more difficult for this one. well, not really.
what is 3D redering?
Thats the process of making 3d data look like 3d on your 2d screen. Your 3d games do it, just really fast.

very good, but slow online.
i love naking thing with blendere but ur awesome at it! i can never add textures cuz im too lazy to....
Cool! I love Blender! the new Blender 2.49 is now out...
This is INSANE!
awesomeness
Woah. That's awesome. I'm not sure how no one thought of that before, but now that I think of it, I would have no idea how to make the slices... Still. Awesome work.
THIS ROCKS!
OMFG THIS IS SO AWESOME!!!!!! dude can you make a blender tutorial
That's awesome. I luv it.

impressive! Its a original idea to split it into slices and 'tracing' them on one by one
i dont get it..
It's a monkey head, it rotates when you move the mouse. Not a game just a test in 3d method.
