what is the current version of scratch + the one you used to make this, because on my version your program is a lovely yellow connect the dots with several obselete commands.
I've done it! Ive turned this into a real non-wireframe d graphic generator! All thanks to this project. This project was really close to that already, but just needed some tweaks.
Ok, this could be potentially turned into a 3d graphic generator...(at least a slow one)We turn up draw steps enough so it looks completely solid. Then, while it is drawing , it draws in color. This could be combined wita ray tracer. I havent tried anything like this but if it worked it would be a revolution in 3d on scratch.
Okay, I'm having problems with making the game. I don't really know much trig, but I needed to make my camera always face the object. I studied trig for a little while, then came up with a solution to solve it. It should have worked, but all the vertices went to the middle. (I'm changing the camrotx in order to view at different angles) I monitored the variables. According to the variables, I have everything right. The angle changes realistically. What am I doing wrong?
for fast rendering I don't recommend procedural drawing like this. This one draws a slice then goes to the next... for a fast render, draw all the points at once. look at s65's cube renderer and my camera rotate.
Yeah, I figured out that this is kinda hard to optomize. But I can't figure out how to draw all the points at once; I don't really understand much of it. I just get rid of variables. I am now working with pre-rendered graphics. Those work much better. I made a 3d platformer demo using pre-rendered 3d graphics.
That's amazing. Its sooooo much fun to play with, but I think you should add a "randomize" button so that the user can just click the button to see a random pattern. I think that would be cool, and it would entertain the users who are too lazy to make something theirselves.
Again, Good job!!! I am still working on optomizing this. So far, I have it at 5 fps. (only 15 vertices now. (When rendered)) I have a plan for a game using the engine, too. Now all I need is to learn a little trig...

It's not, right now. I've been exploring 3d in some of my other projects. Some of these might make it into a 3d game.

omg! i love this! i toyed around with 3d and lathing before and i made a 3d bell. its really cool. too bad im too poor to afford a good 3d program
