Ok, first you need to change the image size to the size of scratch. Go to the render panel by pressing "F10". Now towards the bottom left change the numbers from "800" and "600" to "480" and "360" this is the size of Scratch. Now render the scene with "render" or the "F12" button. Save the image by clicking in the top menu "File", "Save Image F3" this will let you save your image. Write what file name you want to use in the second line and hit save. I need to finish my tutorial...
I made the tank with a free 3d program called blender. It took me a long time to learn. And I am a graphic designer, so that helps, but I wish I started learning earlier. blender.org has some video tutorials and http://blenderartists.org is a good place to start.
