The greatest blocks in the world are [broadcast () with argument ()], [set current buffer to ()], [paint buffer () at x () y ()], and [draw text () at x () y ()]!
Excellent ideas!
did you know that if you can hack scratch and stick 'blur' into that argument, It will work! Also, it is in streak, v(1.3)0.0beta and up.
My Masters project in Scratch involved adding these blocks to Scratch to *experiment* with. I would have loved to have your input! Are you interested in image processing?
also you should have blocks that make the variable move, change its readout type, and a block that changes the variable to slider and sets it's min or max. also, in sensing or vars, you should have a single additional variable that senses the variable's variables. Will continue

I saw them in the source code and I made the broadcast one, but I can't figure out how to do the receive one.
(view all replies)Are those hacked? What is the code?
are these really coming out in version 1.5?????? if they are then K00L! if there not then k00l anyways. KOOL!
cool Block ideas, my favorite Block is "use eraser"
i wouldn't want broadcast __ to __, because sometimes you need to do it for a lot of sprites, and sometimes the stage
well use (the brodcast is sword) stage:sword stage strite: sword (sprite name)
wow, love it
these are cool blocks that I wish that scratch had too.

every scratch project can be a 0 sprites 1 script. it's just really really REALLY HARD!
not really. not unless you have a seperate background for each possible color of each possible color
(view all replies)they should have a block like this: "If at point x=whatever and y=whatever"
You can do that in scratch already.

Very cooool
I guess this has to do with your love of math (ha ha)
There will be like "<variable [ v] Showing?>" and "[ (readout type; x position; y position)v] of variable [ v]"
there is

an array is a list in other words speaking a group of variables.
you men the array's variables
(view all replies)these blocks are pretty good idea. I don't understand the "set array at index (0) to (0) block or the one after that
its already on
I wouldn't mind these blocks too!!! good idea!!!

No, these are blocks I want to be in the next version of Scratch.
