If you like reading adventure, fantasy, or "Choose-your-own-adventure" books, you're going to love this game!
This text-based adventure game includes over 75 unique locations, dozens of items, and hundreds of words in its vocabulary.
The game was inspired by Infocom's Zork. While not the same, it borrows from its ideas.
I hope you enjoy playing this as much as I did making it!
CLICK "LOVE IT"
Command me using simple sentences:
OPEN DOOR WITH KEY
HIT NAIL WITH HAMMER
PUT CUP IN CASE
Think: VERB OBJECT PREPOSITION ITEM
Typing "OPEN THE DOOR" is the same as "OPEN DOOR."
Don't type adjectives. For example, if there is a "RUSTY NAIL" on the ground, type "GET NAIL" instead of "GET RUSTY NAIL".
Some special commands have only one word:
HELP or ? - See a short list of commands
I or INVENTORY - See what you're carrying
N or NORTH - Go north
S or SOUTH - Go south
E or EAST - Go east
W or WEST - Go west
U or UP - Go up
D or DOWN - Go down
LOOK - Look around
QUIT - End the game
It really helps to draw a map as you explore. Since there is no "save game" feature, your map is the only way to remember where you've been.
The green flag does not work with this game. In fact, the game doesn't work well when downloaded. Don't be surprised if you try to remix this and your remix doesn't work. It is very touchy.
