Got a good idea for a future design studio?
Make a project that:
1) Describes the Design Studio theme, and
2) Includes an example of the kind of project Scratchers can submit to it.

Design Studio themes should be broad enough so that Scratchers of all ages, interests, and experience levels can participate.

Could you make separate projects for each of your ideas? We add in the example project to start each gallery and people might get confused by the multiple ideas.

I was thinking. Maybe, as like an event such as Collab Camp, there could be an event called something like "Be Resourceful!". Be Resourceful! would start with a project made by the Scratch team, giving a list of blocks and variables allowed to be used in a Be Resourceful! project. Then, all the Scratch users who want to try to make a Be Resourceful! project can ONLY use the blocks and variables listed in the project made by the Scratch team. The project could be anything!

Nope, it doesn't have to be in the project. It's easier if it's included in the project, but it's not a requirement. Just be sure to link to the example in the project notes. =D

There are a few things I dislike about your idea. It may cause fighting. It's definitely not descriptive enough. The worst part is that you say that we should make a project that has to do with something.

My concern with your idea, is that its more of a suggestion than a theme. And seeing a bunch of scratch blocks for a month might get a bit old. But you can always suggest blocks on the suggestions page of the forums!
