This gallery showcases a service-learning project funded by the Saint Paul Community Education Service-Learning Program.
Expo Elementary students created software for five and six year olds at Bridgeview, a school for children with special needs. Expo students interviewed their clients' teachers about the children's needs and interests. The kindergarteners have severe language and movement disabilities. They use special switches in order to interact with a computer. They are learning about cause and effect. We made programs for them based on what we learned and used sensor boards to make switches to run them.

Cool! I heard that your main interest in scratch is educational projects so I was wondering if you could link one of your projects to my educational scratch gallery
cool. i have a physical disability, so i find it very cool that you'd do this.
I read about your collaborative project in the THE journal and really enjoyed listening to the kids talk about their experiences. Great work.
