(view all replies)I mean that the AI has it's position set at a certain scrollX instead of X.For following use my scripts,but replace the jumping w/ a sensor near the guys foot to tell if there's an obstacle.I'm trying to answer the question.If you're having trouble with getting the enemy to move,download the level 1 and check out the brbarian.(link to project)
Scrolling is easy; the AI just changes it's position instead of it's X position.As for jumping,you could have a sensor so that if there's an obstacle,it will jump.
(view all replies)If you mean the AI following, my idea was that based on some of the choices made in the beginning you would have altered weapons and allies (e.g. good side=pitchfork,farmers,barbarians=axe,barbarians).My idea was that when the level started you would get 2-3 AI allies following you and helping, although 2 player mesh wouldn't be impossible.

(view all replies)Hey Guys, CharlieAZ here. I created Iron man level 1, BTW. I quit this company a while ago(too much other stuff going on), and I have to say, I'm surprised. You guys have REALLY taken off. BUT FOR THE GOOD LORDS SAKE WILL YOU PLEASE FINISH DARKLIGHT ALREADY?
Sorry it took so long to reply back,but i'm afraid the company is fairly fragmented.I'm trying to piece together all the parts of Darklight we've made so far,but there were just so many delays,and now i'm only aware of midnightleopard,bombo,maybe Dazachi,and myself working on Darklight.I'll definitely check out your iron man level,but don't rush us;at least we're trying,and some companies have years between games.I guess we're still kinda reeling from pinochio quitting...

Hmmm...your projects are good enough to represent that you have experience in fixing glitches,but I also have EmpororEvil applying as well. To give you a fair chance,i'll come up with a glitchy project soon,and you need to identify what's wrong.Okay?

(view all replies)Okay,pinochio,I just added what I hope to be the main darklight character to the gallery.Also,i've been noticing that you haven't been on scratch recently,and that really hampers everyones production. So I was wondering if I could temporarily try to organize things...just until you get a chance to be on more frequently. I couldn't do much more then recommend jobs though,since i'm pretty bad at organizing things..just ask my teacher what I do to my locker.
(view all replies)yeah, but you make them glide towards a certain position while having a spinning script run at the same time. it's somewhat tedious, but you could make multiple sprites out of the stage... you know what i'm gettin at?
your comment isn't showing up on my project, so i'll tell you here: the logo putting itself together, and then something or other fading in, is possible if you make it glide and turn at the same time... and ghost effect is pretty simple. :)

Pinochio,do you think that bombo is done yet?I'm getting tired of waiting around for artists...it just makes me feel like we're never going to finish,and it's just going to end up like one of many good ideas that were butchered because the creator thought that they couldn't make it right or they were to lazy and impatiet to even try for more then a few minutes.
Nevermind. I'll fix it.

will darklight ever ewver come out? I am not working in that feild area but it seems as if so many people are contributing it may take forever and who is puting all the scripts/sprites/menues etc.?

Actually I changed the name of Army tycoon to "Suicide Runner." A trailer will be released soonish
Mark this: I am working on a project called "Army tycoon" With sprites made by webgal15. You get a soldier and you can upgrade his rank and power to have him fight the enemies. It will be a great game.

(view all replies)How much HTML?I know how to make the title,background images,images,headings,text,and links(which actually is only the basics when you think about it).But you definitly sound like a talented scratcher who is eager to participate,and currently half our members are inactive(dazachi,targethero,pokemaster12,mkr,IOUnothing,timefreeze,and charlieAZ to be exact)so you have a reasonable chance of getting in.
