Son of String Art: This is probably my favorite Scratch program I found for a few reasons. First, it is a great demonstration of a Bezier curve, a parametric curve that I find extremely interesting. Second, the program is a simple concept that is still able to interest the user. Finally, I was interested in how the programmer was able to make it and do things like auto refresh and follow the dots.
Snake: I was interested in this project because it looked very good without being too graphically detailed. I also love the simplicity of a game like snake. The addition of a timer for collecting each dot was also a very good idea and a good demonstration of how timers can be utilized in a game program. The one thing I wasn't impressed with, however, was the sound effects. I thought the programmer could have done a better job of picking sounds that better matched the game.
Photon Cage v10: I was very impressed by the fact that it was a completely unique concept. I have never seen another game that's quite like this one; many other scratch projects are simply remakes of other popular games or simple side-scrollers. Also, this game also utilities clean graphics that look good without being too elaborate or detailed, with might slow the game down. The background music also adds a lot. It is not too overbearing, but adds to the gameplay experience. Very well Done!
