My final selection is a version of Super Mario Galaxy made in scratch. I picked this because it is incredibly extensive and obviously has had a lot of work put into it. There are many levels within this game, as well as sound effects and music. This is an example of the level of professionalism that can be achieved in scratch, approaching the quality of many online flash-based games.
Second, we have the Lego modeler. I think this is a well implemented example of some more complicated projects that can be created in Scratch. It works quite well for the most part, and is a very clever little idea. This is also an example that Scratch's potential is not limited only to games, though this is a toy of sorts.
First up is the kaleidoscope generator. I picked this project because it seems to be a fairly simple creation that I, with a little practice, might be able to create at some point. It shows the power of scratch at creating small projects like this without need of complicated programming knowledge. This is a good beginning project in Scratch.
