Yes. I'm part of the Scratch Team. Currently the team is formed of grad students and staff at MIT. However, we're always looking to expand our circle. We recently added the role of curator on the front page. You might be interested in that.
The account was not blocked. The IP address linked to the account was been blocked because it was linked to other accounts that were posting disrespectful comments. Basically the same computer was used by the same person (or different people) to create different accounts to harass other users. We don't like blocking accounts or IPs but this is the only way we have found to keep the community a friendly place.
Thanks for suggesting it. We typically do not feature projects when people ask us to do so though. Also, we try to feature projects that do not involve violence. It's a great project otherwise!

i think he quit or something. but he's been taunting people and using very innapropriate language. he doesn't deserve to be on scratch. it's not a right, it's a privilage. almost all of his projects have been flagged and the ones that haven't make people mad. thanks :)

Anyone can organize a Scratch Day. You could talk to your parents or your teacher and organize one and invite your friends :)
