Agam, for the first time since Raven's death, was truly happy. Happier than she'd ever been. She ran up to hug Ched (much to Lev's displeasure). "Thank you, thank you..." she repeated constantly.
"Agam, you do know I'm from the underowrld?" she looked at him for a second as if he were the devil and smiled like she was seeing an angle. "On my 100th birthday, about 6 months ago, I got this." he held his styx rod. "and through it I can communicate with Hades. Lord of the dead. Maybe he can revive her!" He smiled, ecstatic.
Then she heard the words "revive from the dead." Revive? Was that possible? Was it possible for Agam to be with her sister once again? She raced up to Ched. "What was that I heard about reviving from the dead?"
At that moment Agam arrived back in the clearing to see everyone huddled in a circle, whispering. About her, probably. Oh well. She would do this for Raven, and try to ignore their attacks on her pride as best she could.
"Lev? Tak? Alecia? could you come over here for a minute?" ched smiled slightly and whispered the most brilliant plan any of them had ever heard. "Kronos defeated father time, his son zeus defeated kronos. So, we just need to lie. Here's the lie. The orcle told us that zeus will soon be overthrown by his son, by the name of gehydro. But to demonstrate his 'leadership' there's someone we need to revive from the dead."
Ched walked back to mother nature who had shrunk down to the size of pixie and was weeping, softly. "She forgives you." Ched told her, although it was more the thought that carried to her. And then ched had an idea. He knew how to stop the wedding. He knew how to get revenge. He knew how to make everyone happy.
Agam considered crying again, but decided against it. "No. No more tears. You've had enough of those in your life." She looked out into the trees and whispered, "Raven, if you're there, I want you to know that I'm doing this for you. I know you would have wanted me to do this, so I will." She turned slowly and began her painful walk back.
Agam turned around. She couldn't bear to look at Ched anymore. The look in his eyes when he swore on the Styx was just too much for her to handle. It looked almost exactly like the look her sister had given her when they swore they would be friends for life... and look where that had gotten them...
Agam looked at him and didn't smile, but the compassion in her eyes was more then enough. "Go back?" he asked her. She shook her head no. He walked away, knowing she'd come back in a little while. Ched nodded to himself and took the walk back over.
can he turn around to the rest of the group and say, "never on the styx would i use a friend."? and then everybody jumps up in a victorious way and then time freezes?
Meanwhile, Takshon realized something. he realized that the reason he felt the urge to protect Ched in battle was... *dramatic cliffhanger!! ^^ i will reveal it in the future!*
"I can't go back to being just another person." Agam answered, thinking that the voice was Ched's. "I can't let you demigods and monsters and gods walk all over me like somebody's doormat. I need to know that I can be myself without people running, fainting, or using me." She looked him in the eye, staring directly into his soul. "You wouldn't use me, would you?"
Agam was stunned. She hadn't thought that it would be that hard on her mother. After all, at first Agam had thought that her mom wanted her gone. But now she saw, and thought how wrong she had been to run. She turned to face Ched, a sad look in her eyes. "No. I'm sorry, Ched. And mom. And all of you. I'm sorry about what I did. I know it was wrong." As hard as it was, she managed to look Ched in the eye as she said through silent tears, "But I don't know if I can go back."
Had ched not chased after agam, he would have told takshon, "Yes, yes you are." and smiled a toothy wide, fake smile. But he wasn't there. "Agam. I'm sorry. I don't know if there's anything I can do but..." something ghostly, unseen and beautiful came behind ched and used his body. And mother nature's tale spilled out on the ground infront of agam. Her story wove in to her soul. And she had no idea what to do.
Takshon was stunned. he had been stunned for a while. "so, lemme get this straight," he said, "We came here to see Mother Nature, who turns out to be this Agam person's literal mother, but Agam got angry that she left her daughters stranded, when it was really Proteus, Agam's dad, but she's still angry because she keeps grudges or something, and i'm caught in the middle of it all?!?!?!"
"Agam! Wait!" Agam heard Ched scream behind her. She started running. "Wait! Please! I need to talk to you!" Ched yelled as he chased her deeper into the forest. Agam was getting annoyed. "Don't try to stop me!" she said. She kept running until she reached a wide river with no way across. Ched finally caught up to her. "And here I am again, stuck in a trap with no way out," Agam thought to herself.
Mother nature stared at the ground and whispered through the tears, "I'm sorry." What went on in her head was the fight that had gone on that night. They were at the river when a tree spirit smacked proteus on the cheek. Nobody knew why. He had blamed her. He was walking away and she chased after him, but he hid in the bushes, and flew out with a flock of sparrows, carrying 2 baby birds. She had wept for three months and mourned for a century.
The light gathering around her suddenly burst from her like an explosion. All was red for a moment as the group shielded their eyes. As the light died down, there was Agam, with her shirt sleeves smoldering, standing in the center of a smoking crater. "Never again will I let you rule my life," she said, slow and sinister. She slowly walked past mother nature and into the bushes beyond the clearing. Ched called after her, running towards the spot where she had left the clearing.
"And as if that's not hard enough, now you expect me to love you, like any good little girl should. Well, I'm tired of it. Of you." She turned to face the others and shouted, "ALL OF YOU! You've treated me terribly my whole life and expect me to just sit around and do nothing to help myself. WELL NO MORE!! I WON'T LET YOU RUIN MY LIFE!" The energy around her now was so strong that she radiated red light. "NOT. ANY. MORE!!!!"
Agam's eyes began to glow red, adding to her terrifying appearance. "I've been abused, neglected, and left to die in some alley along with my sister. I've been attacked, by both mortals and immortals, simply because of the way I've been born. I've been hidden from public eye because of how you treated me as a child. And now, I've been expected to handle all of these innocent-sounding explanations that I can't force myself to believe." Agam continued angrily.
"And so you let him leave me to die. Did any of you think that we might have feelings too? Did any of you think that maybe, just maybe, we might grow up and figure out what you did? And did any of you even consider that beauty might end up being destroyed by a demigod's ignorance?" As Agam said this she brushed her hair back, revealing her mutilated half. Mother Nature cringed. "Agam..." she whispered.
"He wanted levimari as ged's bride. And ghydro....he is a really, really bad egg. Personally, I like mortals. He laughed so hard at the colleseum a few thousand years a go, he almost wet himself. Thats all boys think about, you know?!" then she laughed nervously. "No offence." She reffered to Takshon and Ched.
"When levimari was born she was absolutely beutiful. When you, Agam and your sister, the twins, you were just as." mother nature sent out a signal that lev clearly couldn't hear. It said, 'you were WAY cuter'. "But zeus must have thought other wise. He had some sort of grudge against your sister. Involving sucking on his lightning bolt I think. He ordered proteus to abandon you."
"Zeus, had had ghydro at the time. He did not want ghydro to over thow him, so, he wanted to have a wife for him. He was going to arrange a marrige." she glanced at ched and levimari. "Both poseidon and proteus had daughters. Me and proteus and Poseidon with Afrotrite. There was one more daughter involving a mortal I think, but that's out of the question. So anyways, now that I put together the puzzle..." she gasped. "Your fate was zeus's falt."
Chedronus sat, wide eyed. Levimari glared at the ground. Alecia looked with confusion. Takshon stood, mouth agape. And Agam managed to whimper, "Tell me."
Hey, I really like mythology and just finished making a project about it. I didn't want to post it here because I'm not sure if this is a private gallery or not...but here is the link (link to project)
yeah, there's a plot. it's not in the projects though. look down at some of the comments. :) but ill give u a summary anywho. right now, chedronus (aka ched) and levimari (aka lev) wanna get married, but gedhro (aka ged or ged-a-life) has an arranged marriage w/ lev. me (agam), ched, lev, and takshon (ched's bff) are talking to rhea (aka mother nature) about how they can cancel the marriage. somehow, agam finds out that rhea is her mother that abandonded her. yes, i no, its confusing. :)
When Agam managed to control herself, she looked up to Mother Nature. "Why didn't he want us?" Agam said to her, trying to sound as brave as she could (it didn't work very well though).
"What is happening to me?" Agam thought aloud, speaking through her tears. "Why did the world have to turn inside out right before my eyes? Why..." Her voice trailed off into a silence, with nothing but the sound of the forest animals going through their normal, careless lives. "SHUT UP!!!" Agam yelled. The animals stopped scurrying around in the semi-darkness. Great, Agam thought, another new power to make life more complicated. Her sobs grew stronger.
Ok, here it is. Greek mythology is what I read about. AND OMG DO I LUV IT! and since I do scratch I want to welcome you into the lovely world of the underworld, the sea, the sky and myths! Why is this an RPG? becuase you make a character. You could live in the underworld, sea, sky or mount olympus! You could be best pals with ceberus and go down the styx with charon or go under the sea with posiden on a cruise. Its really yours. You can be a creature like the hydras or sirens, be a friend to a god, demigod or important person or BE a god (you made unless J0j2 says)! share your creations as who you are and RPG!
P.S. I really REALLY would rather you only have 1 charrie please.
J0j2---Chedronus Underword
Maki-tak---eklor somewhere
Igglepie---cassmache, upperworld, currently in underowrld
Imacat (spelling it uppercase to make him mad)---Takshon-underworld

Agam slowly drew closer to Ched, waiting for an answer. (J0J2!!! WHERE IZ U?!?)
Meanwhile, Takshon realized something. he realized that the reason he felt the urge to protect Ched in battle was... *dramatic cliffhanger!! ^^ i will reveal it in the future!*
duh duh duh.... ^^ CLIFFHANGER!!!

(view all replies)Takshon leaned in to the rest of the group (he had unknowingly drifted to the side) and whispered, "go back to what, exactly?"
