Hammer 2: this is fun, and you can practice at it and get better at playing the game. However, it has glitches: you can get points after game over, the number of misses doesn't reset if you restart. Iron out all the glitches and this would be great. You could improve it by changing difficulty or adding levels. The graphics are good, but it could do with some music (the pop is effective though). Overall, I would give this 7.5/10, it has excellent gameplay, but is not glitch-free and lacks sound.
I just added DemonSlayer II. There are some other games in my DemonSlayer series which are very good but I think this is the best game currently. It was challenging to make, and it's challenging to beat.
Here is my critique for Dr_Supers Susa project ((link to project)): You seem to have been really inspired by the history of the game. This project is very clear to understand and it is visually accurate. Even though I NEVER won, I enjoyed playing against Dr Super. The only thing that distracted me was that Dr Super's turn went so quickly after mine that I sometimes thought my pieces had been misplaced. Did you consider adding a wait 1 second block before Dr.
Bubble Attack Continued: I also think that there should be something to make the levels seem more different, i know there are more bubbles in each but maybe if they had a slight tint of a different colour each level it would look good or different backgrounds. I also love the way the start menu blends into the bricks of the wall when you start.
Bubble Attack: very fun game but as you said it is quite hard. Ive tried to think of simple ways of making it easier. Firstly when you pop a bubble the two new bubbles should then head upwards giving you more time, the bubbles could be slightly smaller so you have more room or you could make the spider slightly smaller so it can avoid the bubbles better. I love the animations such as the spinning inside the bubbles.

I added a review for DrSuper's game...here: (link to project)
bigB - Perhaps you could have everyone post links to their reviews on this page to help you keep track of who has reviewed which projects.
I added my Bubble attack game in hopes of getting some construtive criticism. I have had a few people say it is too hard. Any ideas on how to make it easier without making it too easy for everyone else?
Block Slider: This is a remake of one of my games and i was hugely impressed by the improvements. It is remarkably quicker to calculate whether to erase a block and the use of buttons on screen works well too. I have yet to find a use of making the blocks jump over each other but it looks good and is very clever. The menu at the start (trademark of all Guardians Games) also makes it look better.
THank you. I added the jump feature because ther were times when i need a block on the opposite side from where it was. I actually use it at least once per level.
If people are no longer coming to the gallery, they will not see your request for critiques. Perhaps it's time to put a comment on the projects in here, and remind them their project is in a critique gallery. Also remind them what was expected of them when they joined. I tried to critique almost every project in here, but only bibG and Cyclone103 critiqued my project (very good info by the way guys; I made major changes based on your feedback).
I will try to do that. I am also contacting other experienced scratchers hoping to find a couple more people to join. Yet again thanks for your major contribution to this gallery.
It would be great to have more critiques. especially from different people. even if you dont want to write much you can write a sentence or two about a project. If anyone knows anybody on scratch who they think would be prepared to be an active member of this gallery please invite them.
It looks like the whole critique thing is not working so well. I checked out a few other critique galleries, and people love to put their projects in them to get views, but very few actually critique other projects.
The zoom on Guardian 3D is a very interesting feature. I personally like to zoom right out to see where the AI's are better. The ability to start where you died is great as the game was previously to hard for me.
Is anyone still critiquing in this galery? If so, can you look at my latest changes in Guardian 3D? I added a new Zoom feature, and made it so you can retry the game from where you get killed instead of starting over. I just want to know what other scratchers think.
Bomb Squad: This is a nerve wracking game (in a good way). The timer counting down, mocking me while I frantically push butttons! Good job. I would add some kind of sound effect or maybe flashing buttons when the combination is hit. This would serve as positive reinforcement that the combination was found, and give a slight pause before it starts the next level.
Mini Golf: This is a good start for a mini Golf game. I would suggest using some logic to determine if a ball is travelling to fast when it reaches the hole (it should pop out). I hit one full power right next to the hole, and it stayed in.
Susa: This game is very difficult tobeat. THe AI is very well written. The interface is easy to use. The music was distracting (I had to mute it in order to enjoy the game). Overall a very well written game.
Susa: I have already commented on this project but thought i would do so again in this gallery. It looks very proffesional and the interface is great (and improved in the next version). It is an incredably fun addictive game with alot of tactics involved and it is against a very smart AI. Altogether a very well made project.
b_g's mini golf: I loved the way the power works and the aiming is a good balance between being simple but not so easy that you just put your mouse over the hole. There seemed to be some problems going from one level to another such as with the power. very good, i hope to see it developed.
Danger Zone: This was a tough one to review. the scrolling was smooth, but the player bounced a little to much for me. I'm not sure what the object of the game is. do you kill the red guy over and over, or are you just dodging fireballs, or gathering coins? is there and end? My suggestions are below:
change the color of the score so it is easier to read. Maybe make the "unlit" segments slightly darker than the background. make the arm holding the gun point towards the mouse (it looks kind of funny when the bullet comes off the top of the gun. build a story around the game explaining why you are there, and what the end goal is. add gun firing sound effect.
fix the bullets so they stay on a more realistic trajectory. fix the intro screen, I couldn't get past it online. I had to download it. overal, this really looks to be a fun game.
3D Stunt Flyer: This will be short. Fun. I don't like the gates though. I would rather be doing tricks than trying to fly through gates (especially when I don't know if I'm about to pass them or not). So, change it to be a real stunt flyer instead of stunt racer, though it was fun
Artillery Demo: As always I like the hand-Scratch-drawn graphics. But how do you choose your movement? is it at the beginning? Or is that the speed? And the tanks jump really high, too high for me, as well as the bullets. The bullets go very high and suddenly drop from nowhere. Very hard to play. But I know it's a demo, and from what I saw, the full (if it comes out) should be terrific!
