doctor who is the name of the show the doctor is the main charecter hes a 900 and odd old timelord he travels the universe saving ppl but causing desruction in his wake hes the only one left of his kind cause they were wiped out by the daleks he sometimes has a companion which most of the time he falls in love with but at the end of the series they either die or get stuck in another universe or simply just choose to leave him the doctor is played by david tennant but it changes every so often
