i just added a project that renders a vanishing point on any polygon - the real math is in the code to create any polygon of your choice, up to 24 angles and with varying size
Sorry to hear that! I remember in math when I was learning the quadratic equation, my teacher taught us a song, which I have stuck in my head now......X=-b + or - radical(b^2-4AC) all over 2A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For some reason, many people take pride in hating math or in not being good at it, yet people try to hide the fact that they can't read (if that is the case). Why is it acceptable to be illnumerate, but not acceptable to be illiterate! If you want to be educated, you need both.
Mathematics controls the affects of all the graphics in programs. If you want to be a programmer and your programs involve graphics, you will need to learn some math!
If you do not like it, then why did you click in here? It does not make sense that someone who does not like math would look at a math gallery. What do you like?
I can answer! It is called an avatar, as you know. Moving avatars are pictures linked together and saved in gif format. Here is a good site for them: www.gifs.net Just select your category, right click it, save it as whatever you want, then go to your profile, click change picture, and select your gif. Try to save your gif as a picture so you can find it easily. If you need any more help, let me know!
Lol, math can be kind of hard to understand, but with a lot of practice (or a good teacher) it really is not bad at all. I like math personally, which is why I made this, but I can understand fully how confusing it can be at times. I like how the projects that people have added here are not overwhelming at all!
Thanks! My spiral maker actually took a bit of thinking, since there are no basic formulas I can think of for it. I figured out based on angle of the bar, it moved a greater number of steps, put the pen down, and repeated. I think it works pretty well!
... I updated my caculator. It now has a 0(whoops I forgot that inV.1.) and decimals(only goes up to tenth place since Scratch always rounds up variables to the tenth place:( )
Add your math projects here, if it does not involve math I will remove it. Wow my second featured thing! If anybody can explain in simple terms how the Mandlebrot set is calculated, double extra bonus points!

(view all replies)I added one project a remix of dapontes.I can explain you Mandelbrot set ( by a french teacher) http://www.dimensions-math.org/Dim_fr.htm Ch5 and Ch6.
i've added three projects.
Is it ok if I add this? (link to project) It doesn't use a whole lot of math, but it sort of does.
i've added two projects

It's too bad you think so... Math is always awesome! :D

Sorry that was two 3D projects. I hit shift at the wrong time.
Ive added 2 projects if yoy don't mind
Its ok! Feel free to add as many math projects as you like!
ugh... the stupid quadradic equation form latro i made is too big!!!!

I totally think you should add my line designer and pyramid maker to this gallery, as they have to do with goemetry, a field of mathematics
lol its ok. They do count as math!
Sure, but just so you know, you can add them yourself. This gallery is open to the public!
(view all replies)none of mine is math (example:math animals
lol
Ok........

(view all replies)Good. Your gallery is very nice. I like "spiral maker"

I think math it ok
I made my calculator before mkolpnji made the 0 key and the x^2 key. I made some stuff on the calculator myself!
I saw! like that cool background, and those keys!
Please enter! (link to project)
...added scientific notation to th caculator. Doesn't work the best though...
See my print_scientific project (link to project)
ok lol

lol
check out my type in calculater. (link to project)
good
tell me when! i wanna see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(view all replies)ninjas ARE cool though lol, but since I dont have a ninja gallery, I took em out.
(view all replies)what do ninjas have to do with math?
nothing, so I removed them, I didn't see that those were in there.

no problem! I thought that your game was very good, especially since it required the player to think.
