So instead of explaining all the controls in your notes you just have like 1 to 3 buttons to use not over 5 or 10.

It means that all the actions are controlled by one or two buttons. So lets say you are beside a group of priests like in your game and you press a button to blend in. In a different situation where you are assasinating a target, you press the same button to assasinate the target. In other words you have less controls and more functionality.
