It basically allows for total control over scrolling terrain. I can edit out the edit mode, and moving each point is a snap. I can also create floating platforms, gaps in the floor, and basically anything except for slopes. Slopes get messed up.
i am creating a scrolling ...er i guess snowboaring...game. It is kind of like the one that got inthe top viewed only i'm going to try to make it more advanced.
i'm going to completely overhall all of the scripts lvl etc b/c all of the code is jimbled and messy. Its hard to follow. When i get time i will try to post the updated version. I will use most of the same sprites.
p.s. i hope this game is not dead. it was going so well. hybrain see what you can do with it. Try to add some more final things then post it and we can convese about it.
i wish i could show you guys some of my gamemaker projects.
I think the next thing i will try in scratch is to reform the physics engin for 'Garball'.

the reson is...im creating a really cool RTS(real tim stratagy) game with gamemaker7. You can save games that any computer can not (not just ones with gamemaker7) whith gamemaker7. that isa big reson why i prefer it over scratch.
I think i am in a simler boat as dawisch...ext with gamemaker instead of blender. I wont completely abandom scratch. But my project prodyction on scratch will greatly lessen.
Hey guys i'm done using scratch. It is not nearly advanced enough and the tools are so limited! I'm moving on to just blender 3D now. Sorry, your on your own. I still might check my messages every once in a while though. (=
okay.... try gamemaker7 also. It is very good. esp. if you get the pro version.($20) And learn the GML(game maker language.) it's not hard to learn. Just google it and try the free lite version.
nope... i dont have internet on my computer so i cant work on the project until i do again... so someone else should work on it. mabe more lvls? also the third terrain should be taken off. It is slow on my pc.
just so u guys know...I spent a good 2-3 hourse working on addind the health bar, lvl2, medpack, etc....I hope that is what you ment buy coding.
(FYI I will be away from the computer most of tuesday)
i dont think we can have any music. who edited the bad guy dying sequence? also, yeah, we should use the same sprites but diffrent costumes for the platform.

Scratch is better than trying to create game for the NXT :) Believe me! But scratch is limited...
dawisch...you never finished the 27th demesion. Finish that then abandon scratch.(i really wanted to see the full version.)

get rid of all the sample projects scratch comes with. The take up a lot a memory on your flash drive.
try to use a USB device to transfere it. Run scratch off of the usb. Thats how I do it.

i fond a way to make infinate terrain using two terrain sprite that just recycle. i used it for my snowboarding game. i will use it for this.

this is great. it started out from a guy walking around to levels, attacking sequences, and health, and fans!
i didnt edit him. anyways, someone might have acidently took a block off.
