hey - about the tower defence game ur making (btw im far into making mine) - can u upgrade/sell ur towers? do u hav a limit to the number of towers u can place? just wondering...
I got a question. Is your TD game going to be grid based? If so I can tell you how to make the pieces fit on the grid. Just make each grid piece 10, 20, 30, 40 pixels or onwards, say when you are holding the mouse down go 'forever go to X ((round ((Mouse X) / 10)) * 10)'. Replace the 10 with the grid pixel width/height.
I could give mine a twist thought. Like you have to aim for the turret or you need to buy bullets and select a kind of bullet for a turret (like on Bioshock with the weapons).

Flash uses actionscript, so you need to type in lots of scripts that you can find on the internet. But not all scripts can be found, so you need to be intelligent enough to make your own scripts.

yeah i know i've been trying to learn how to write out whole scripts just by typing them out! there's like millions of tutorials on the net.
