Which board to use?

I'd like to start my kids playing with an external board with Scratch 1.4/BYOB, preferably one where I can (a) add different kinds of sensors over time, and (b) be able to control some different devices like led, display, sound, motors. Ideally, I'd also like to be able to do this from both Mac and PC.

What would you recommend I use? Information on Pros / cons also welcome.

Thanks!

Re: Which board to use?

I recommend this. It's pretty cheap, and I can only think of Pros, no Cons:

Re: Which board to use?

Thanks, chalkmarrow! That one does look good.

Have you used it with Scratch 1.4, perhaps using DaveK2's new Delphi-based bridge? I'm curious about how smoothly the whole thing works together.
