Scratch had problems for me when I first installed it.I would become frozen out of nowhere but somehow it got fixed!

Most modern (any time after cavemen
) computers should meet those requirements. Scratch takes up very little space, but is an excellent programming language. I have an old dell computer with Windows OS, and I was still able to download. That's one of the many really great things about scratch.
