I'm not a programmer, but I like to see what I can do, and scratch is AWESOME. I made all the graphics real quick, and I know there are some problems, but I figured I'd share it. 1. Just click the green flag 2. Click the shoot button. 3. Press the mouse button to stop the elivation slider. (Try ti hit the center line) 4. Press the mouse again to stop the left/right slider. (Try to stop it even with the wind flag) Your score is at the top. You can reset the round and score by clicking the reset button. See how high of a score you can get, enjoy! http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Shanesta/9710_sm.png Duck Hunt http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/S65/23258 If you love it, don't forget to click the LoveIt button! =P This is a remake of the classic video game Duck Hunt for the NES. Move the crosshair using the mouse and click it. You have to shoot the ducks, but if you miss 3 times the duck will run away. As the game goes on, the ducks get faster and more unpredictable. To advance to the next round, you must shoot at least 6 ducks. The main problem with making this program was the layer issues. I've gotten the layers to be the right way most of the time, but occasionally the duck indicator sprites get buried behind the SHOT sprite and (very rarely) the dog appears in front of the grass instead of behind. This program is my most complicated one yet, with a total of 136 scripts. This is because I abuse the broadcast system. NOTE: The Game Over is glitchy online for some reason, but not offline. Oh well. It doesn't matter if you just stop the program when the Game Over animation pops up. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/S65/23258_sm.png NINJA STICK PERSON http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kuri/58059 Enjoy! the level of violence starts at its lowest setting you can change the level of violence in the options menu Oh and please post a Love it because no love its = no sequel Thanks! oh and if anyone beats this please tell me! you may have to download to play but im not sure, it may work on the internet http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kuri/58059_sm.png Son of String Art http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Paddle2See/89023 Look! Pretty patterns! This project uses the pen to make String Art between the blue dots that you can drag around the screen. I've built a bunch of pre-made shapes you can generate from the buttons at the top of the screen, just to show you some of the possibilites or to give you a starting point. Experiment with different numbers for the Division slider. The number of points being displayed can be changed with the Points slider. The Spacebar will switch you quickly to 1 division (just a simple poly-line) to speed up making changes to the points. Pressing it again will return the divisions to the original value. Have Fun! http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Paddle2See/89023_sm.png Cube World http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Tanner-FBI/107478 To pass the First Boss, you must climb the platform. If you fall through it, keep pressing up on it (not too fast)... I made this for my brother. Its a good game and has a real mystery at the end... Enjoy it : Tanner-FBI http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Tanner-FBI/107478_sm.png Pokemon Blue V. 0.0 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Oldschooler2/63748 A remake of Nintendo's Pokemon Blue. Read on to see how to play. Download this, because The outside scrolling sprites shrinks on the site. If you love it, don't forget to click the Loveit button! I'll admit it's not perfect, but I'm not done yet. If it's that popular I'll finish it, otherwise I will not. V. 0.0 Notes: Alpha test. This is merely an introduction and scrolling test, no story line yet. You can't create your own name or Rival's name (because of the lack of arrays in Scratch), but you can choose from the 3 preset names that appear in Blue. I created this because I am a fan of the original pokemon games, but never saw a pokemon game on scratch that supports multi-directional scrolling. If I get enough loveits, than I will finish the whole game. There are glitches; mainly the "unwalkable" which ends up screwing up the wall variable. This, again, is a scroll test, no Story line yet. The full will have everything that you expect from Pokemon Blue, "Scratched"! Additional notes: Arrow keys to move. Space key is to proceed through speech. (Try it with the SNES!) Click the names to activate the code that remembers your name for future reference. Images from Spriters-resource.com Music from My pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Blue. P.S. The full will even have the standard intro battle between Gengar and Jigglypuff! You can also fight Brock in the full, fight your rival, have a look at your pokemon, and even it's stats will grow as it levels up! Oldschooler2 productions. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Oldschooler2/63748_sm.png Archknight's Adventure http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/archknight/80465 My brother and I have been working on this for about 2 weeks now and it's finally done. We tried to make a very high quality scrolling platformer game in scratch and I think it turned out pretty well :) The sprites are from little fighter 2 and various mario games. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/archknight/80465_sm.png Draw Your Game! http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/archmage/9397 My Game Drawing program will let you create games with ease! You can share you creation with a nearby friend or just amuse yourself! To turn controls off and on click the text that is the control you want to use. All non-variable texts are clickable. Key button controls: up arrow: jump left arrow: left right arrow: right Variable meanings: lives: Your lives runspd: How fast your character can move left or right fallspd: The speed at which you fall jumppwr: How high you can jump Tool discription: Platform Pen: This will enable you to draw platforms that you can stand on. Wall Pen: Creates a wall that cannot be passed by moving left or right. Deathtrap Pen: Creates purple lines that will decrease you character's health and reset his position. Goal Pen: Creates a yellow line which you must touch in order to win. Eraser: erases mistakes. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/archmage/9397_sm.png Droid Army 1.7 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Axeblade/75514 This was so hard to make! I did the math, and it took about 30 hours (on and off) to make this. Remember, if I get one hundred love its, I will upgrade it! I have Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, Droidikas and Assault Droids and General Grievous himself! When you use the force or you jump you use up one force point (as shown in lower left corner). When you are hit (unless you are blocking) you will lose one health point (HP is next to light saber). Light saber only effects droids if blade is actually TOUCHING enemy. You can change the volume by pressing A & S. To move use left & right arrow keys, to use the force press "B" on and your space bar does a basic light saber slash. Up arrow key jumps. Battle Droids have one life each, Super Battle Droids each have two, the Wheel Droid has three and you have ten (as seen next to the light saber). New feature: I now have Music! click on the note with the red slash over it to play "Duel of the fates" from The Phantom menace. Important! LISTEN to the sounds around you, for instance, when you are hit and you are not blocking you hear a sound like an old man farting and if you are blocking there is a PSHAW! sound. Game tips: This not a game about crazed killing, it is about tactics and defense. As soon as any droid with a gun comes down get away from the point it will land and get into a defensive posture. This is because as soon after one lands it waits .1 seconds and then it fires but then it will wait three seconds before firing again. So, get away from the point it is coming down, hold the down key, wait for it to fire, then slash. As soon as an Assault droid comes down get to the far corner and keep using the force until it is too close, then run to the other side and repeat the process. Enjoy http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Axeblade/75514_sm.png Neo http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kuri/63376 The instructions are in the game Post your high score and difficulty level! And please post a love it! becuase i will make more games if you do! UPDATE: added ship customization! UPADTE: added a boss on level nine! http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kuri/63376_sm.png Spin Scratch's new 3d tank! http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AddZero/127846 See how fast you can spin Scratch's tank. Just click and drag to the right or left then let go. Grabbing it while the mouse is still, stops it. The model is for a 3d tank game I'm working on. Don't worry, it shoots mostly harmless hair balls. When it's done, I'll release the source files. The art was made with a free 3d program called Blender, available from blender.org. It has A TON to learn, it's interface is very different. If you want to learn. I'd suggest watching the video tutorials and getting help in the forum. I think would have learned 3d much faster if I had those tools when I started learning about 10 years ago. Do you want to make your own spinable 3d objects? Love this and I'll make a tutorial, and setup files that will make it easier to spin your own 3d models in Scratch. I'd be honored if anyone was able to use any of my work in their project. Please don't just copy- try to make something new from it and at least give me a little credit in your project notes. To whoever designed the Scratch cat: awesome job! If you want to see a test of the 3d game engine I'm working on: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AddZero/130436">http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AddZero/130436 http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/AddZero/127846_sm.png Doodle http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Graham/21904 You are stuck in algebra and are so bored you might as well be dead. There's nothing to do until you see the piece of paper on the desk. You're saved!! Arrow keys to move and mouse to draw. Improved edition: Sound! Better line detecting! And a new level!! http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Graham/21904_sm.png Legends: The Secret of Destiny http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Juzzyboy/92535 This is the best game I have ever made. It took me a few weeks but in the end it came out amazing. This game may seem hard but at the end of the third level you get all your lives back! I hope you enjoy!!! Don't forget to push the love it button if you love it!!! And as I have said in my other games, DO NOT RUSH!!! And a special thanks to Archmage for some of the scripts!!! http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Juzzyboy/92535_sm.png Guitar Hero Blink 1 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Articuno/60243 Press Flag to Start and use the keys q, w, and e to hit the notes as they pass http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Articuno/60243_sm.png Mario Recharged http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/archmage/45066 Unsatified with the quality of mario games on this site I decided to make my own. This game has the most advanced game engine of any mario game on the site allowing for the optimal mario experince! Please leave a comment when you are done to tell me what you think.
