Not functioning the same in the web player. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/104512_sm.png InteractiveGirlsCatfood http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/103845 A working project with my sisters, Christiana and Anneliesa. =) http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/103845_sm.png Aviary Tutorial http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/100130 Aviary is the new online image editing service Andres told us about in this forum thread [ http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=20070#p20070 ]. I just received my Aviary account today, and am posting this project to test the workflow for Scratch. The original Aviary file is here: [ http://a.viary.com/imagedetail?fguid=f3762322-2d4d-102b-844c-0030488e168c ]. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/100130_sm.png 3Dish Art http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/93746 3D-ish effects in Scratch are possible using nothing but gradients. To prove this concept, I've created the following simple art piece using 0 sprites and 0 scripts. Its all just gradients on the background! ;] Oh, goodness - and now that is been uploaded I see that the web version looks kind of rough. Download this to view the effect without all those rings and bands. To get the same effect you see here, set a circular gradient to two similar greys in the paint bucket. Make one circle, then swap the front and back colors, and make another inside of it! http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/93746_sm.png Forum Statistics http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/93706 I'm experimenting with statistics in Scratch. Can you tell? ;] Click anywhere in the window to view the next "slide". The following statistics were gathered from the Scratch forum thread http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=2153&p=1 entitled "Survey: please help us" under the Announcements category. I counted up the number of browser and operating system usage instances over a total of 40 posts. Not all posts were from unique users, nor did all posts contain a statement ofthe OS/UA used. Some users use more than one operating system and/or more than one browser. For each unique noted instance of an OS or UA, a count has been made (regardless if from the same user or not). This lead to what may or may not be an accurate and uniform representation of the data from a "site's-eye" perspective. The resulting counts were as follows: Windows[ 24], Mac[ 8 ], Linux[ 3 ] Firefox[ 20 ], IE[ 11 ], Safari[ 5 ] http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/93706_sm.png Sprite Control Test Panel http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/92956 Version 1.0 - 2008.02.04 by David Christian Liedle [ http://guessmedia.com/scratch/ ] Use the "grow" and "shrink" buttons to explore proportional changes in size and Y-Position for a simulated "near/far" effect. Includes boundaries to prevent the kitty from leaving the "room". http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/92956_sm.png Etch-A-Scratch http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/92932 Etch-A-Scratch 1.2 February 4, 2008 by David Christian Liedle [ http://guessmedia.com/scratch/ ] Place the mouse where you want to start drawing, then press "D" to put the pen down. When you're done, pressing "U" takes the pen up again. Spacebar clears the screen. *NEW* in version 1.2: Changed some of the internals. Also, the now screen shakes when erasing. ;] http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/92932_sm.png 3D Logo Animation Test http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/85524 January 22, 2008 by David Christian Liedle guessmedia.com/scratch A test in presenting a series of images as an animation in Scratch. I used Blender3D to animate and export 30 frames that are used as costumes for the animation sprite. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/85524_sm.png SquareHunter http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/85107 SquareHunter 1.0 January 21, 2008 GuessMedia.com/fun Learn about colors and try to catch them all at the same time! ;] http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/85107_sm.png MimicOSX_1-0 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/77294 MimicOSX 1.0 Released January 7, 2008 by David Christian Liedle www.GuessMedia.com/fun This project aims to reproduce the Macintosh OSX interface in Scratch. The words "Test" in both cases are editable text as a costume of each sprite. The window and its folder are both individual sprites. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/77294_sm.png TurtleDraw_1-0_Design2 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/77291 TurtleDraw 1.0 :: Design 2 Released January 7, 2008 by David Christian Liedle http://guessmedia.com/scratch/ An example of how to draw using programmed steps with the pen. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/77291_sm.png TurtleDraw_1-0_Design1 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/77290 TurtleDraw 1.0 :: Design 1 Released January 7, 2008 by David Christian Liedle www.GuessMedia.com/fun An example of how to draw using programmed steps with the pen. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/77290_sm.png LightCycle 1.0 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TegansPoppy/77284 LightCycle 1.0 Released January 7, 2008 by David Christian Liedle http://guessmedia.com/scratch/ Features: { 1-or-2 player game } { alternate play modes } { handicap-accessible in volume mode } LightCycle is a one or two-player version of the LightCycle game from the classic Disney movie TRON. This started as a test to see whether color-sensing works between sprites and the background costume colors. (Turns out that it does.) ;] http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/TegansPoppy/77275_sm.png
