Kalininrussia1's Recent Projects http://scratch.mit.edu/feeds/getRecentUserProjects/42769 Recent Projects Feed for Kalininrussia1 en-us Sat, 11 Oct 2008 02:20:40 GMT CakePHP Han and Andres genghisu Paper Wario http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Kalininrussia1/88014 If you loveit, don't forget to click the loveit button! :) This is WAY faster when downloaded and seen in presentation mode. Arrow keys to move Space to jump and go through speech (during the intro, i.e. when the Mushroom headed guy comes in and tells you the story) Click play to start Basically using dynamic sprite creation with scrolling. This has only one sprite for all of the scrolling. This has no storyline, yet. But the toad guard at the beginning tells you what the plot is going to be. Storyline (How I'm gonna make it in the full) This takes place in Toad Town (or rather Toadville) after Mario leaves for Rogueport. Wario is visiting other areas, trying to collect mad amounts of gold coins. He is pondering for a sec, and a Toad Guard walks up to him and asks Wario to help the Mushroom Kingdom, by collecting the four music boxes to defeat Bowser (music boxes... don't that remind you of Wario Land 3? And yeah, the title music is Robotnik's theme from Sonic and Knuckles) Yeah.... the doppleghost sprite is going to be along with the other 3 bosses, holding a music box. Credit to Dark Diety from spriters-resource.com for the Paper Wario The toad guard and the doppleghost I don't know where from but I'm giving credit for using them. I got the in-game music (the town music that is) from sausagestands SuperStar Saga demo. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Kalininrussia1/88014_sm.png Floating Guitar and Picks http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Kalininrussia1/84568 I was inspired by jsimones project "bouncing balls with draggable keys" project. If you love it, don't forget to click the loveit button! :) This is just like jsimone's project, but with a few tweaks: 1. It is in guitar form (of course) 2. I added music (Metallic Madness: Past from Sonic CD) 3.Picks instead of balls (see if you can see "Fender" written on them! 4. Speed goes higher 5. I used trig for collision detection. You can drag the body by clicking on it, and you can drag the strings around by clicking on them, too. Click the music button to toggle on or off the music. Click the rebound button to turn the rebound on or off. Now you can use arrow keys to "spin" the stings you're dragging! I know the collision is messed up, but the picks still do cool tricks nonetheless because of this. I was really just messing around with the trig http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Kalininrussia1/84568_sm.png Scratch Poll http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Kalininrussia1/83300 Who do you think is the best Scratcher? Post your answer in the comment area! http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Kalininrussia1/83300_sm.png Sonic pose http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Kalininrussia1/82413 OK, this was really hard to do with a dislocated wrist I got playing hockey. But anyway, this is a rather "dynamic" sonic image I drew in my spare time. ^^ I think I did pretty good for an injury with my hand. Sorry there is a black background but I just want you to see it better. :^) PS Sonic Rocks! I still play Sonic CD! (look it up on google if you don't know that game) Honestly I don't care how you think it looks but credit me for the effort. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Kalininrussia1/82413_sm.png is this right and fair http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Kalininrussia1/81354 http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Kalininrussia1/81354_sm.png Greenthum Island http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Kalininrussia1/81229 For Scratch Nations. Greenthum Island map Yes, it has a desert north with palm trees. That's where the oil reserves are. Tropical otherwise. Mountain ranges. Capital City: Southmannport Oil reserves. Exports include metals, light industry, palm oil, etc. Other features: Desalination plants (for clean water) Rare stones reserves Wonderful beaches 100,290 people http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Kalininrussia1/81229_sm.png Mario Golf: Metal Cap Course http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Kalininrussia1/79840 If you loveit, don't forget to click the loveit button! Controls: Up and down arrow keys: control power left and right arrow keys: control angle space (if you think you got the right power): hit ball See below for game information and clubs in relation to shot power Take it easy on the power. Too strong of power and you get an out! My first project. Quite rough for the graphics but still worth playing. Left and right arrow keys control angle. Up and down is to control power. Graphics suck yes but I wanted to see if I could work multi-directional scrolling. Also note for wind, which accounts for making the ball hook. Once again, It's only my first project and it only has a few sprites and much more glitches. Everything's gray yes but isn't that what Mario looks like when he got the Metal Cap? Go figure . :P That's why this course has silver colored platforms. Gradient painter got messed up upon saving, so, don't judge this on it's appearance, OK? (I'd consider this a par 4 course) Credits: Ragey from spriters-resource for the Mario sprite YC for the intro screen. I don't remember where i got the music from though... Anyway, enjoy! Post how many shots it took you to win. PS beware when you get to the green; the ball slides off and the game could stop for no reason... in that case, click the green flag again. Careful trying to hit when the power is zero; the ball flies backwards! that wind is STRONG! Negative winds hook the ball left. Positive winds hook the ball right. Download it if you want. It's got a lot of complex codes (for a golf game :P) Updates: Fixed ball angle Changed scrolling (now it won't lag) Fixed depth and restitution Wind is not as strong And Changed the way the power works (thanks to paddle2see's advice) Clubs (Based on power) Wood (Power > 35) Iron (15 < Power <35) Pitching Wedge (10 < Power < 15) Sand Wedge (Power < 10) http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Kalininrussia1/79840_sm.png
