Give me feedback fellow Develope create inc members. Click to see a slightly more done version. Still not final. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/AlveKatt/90497_sm.png Rescue_Ship29 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlveKatt/75081 Not much new in 29 that wasn't there in 28. Except the ship being in 3d during rescue op! At last, Rescue Ship can really be called a game. The first mission is improved and you can start the second mission but it has no victim or other challenge yet. New graphics and other details that are missing are still to be added. Move with WASD. Press space for speed boost or turning when in a rescue operation. Find the victim with the search light, move close and click it to initiate the rescue. When the victim is safely aboard press "DONE" to go back to base. Mind the winds though, if the ship moves while reeling in the victim it will fall down again. Compensate by timing movement keys correctly. The first mission now has a 40 second time limit. You can now Conjure a GPS map by holding M. The mission area is marked on the map, the position of the victim is randomized within the mission area. ------- I used Mayhems code after all. I need it to be as optimized as possible, as I intened to make the playing field a bit bigger AND have more than one sprite at some locations. Thank you Mayhem! Control ship with WASD. Press space for lateral movement. I figured a way to make sprites fewer and smaller. I will probably let the game take place in an archipelago. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/AlveKatt/75081_sm.png Dragontest http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlveKatt/74984 Just having silly fun doing pointless stuff. Press space and C. I am thinking about turning this into a game, the expressions would then be determined by the choises you make in the game. Interacting with the creature and keeping it happy would be a big part of the game. It's supposed to be a dragon thing, but I think felines are pretty, and everything I draw ends up a bit felinoid... http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/AlveKatt/74984_sm.png Rescue_Ship28 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlveKatt/73834 At last, Rescue Ship can really be called a game. New graphics and other details that are missing are to be added. Small update, the game now tells you to go in the right direction and a new island is added. Move with WASD. Press space for lateral movement. Added a sea by changing the costumes of the stage. That way I can make the playing field larger using smaller and fewer sprites Than I would need otherwise. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/AlveKatt/32212_sm.png Rescue_Ship11 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlveKatt/31970 I exchanged the background to one that shows that the ship is moving, and what direction, even if you are not at the edges. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/AlveKatt/31970_sm.png DirectionTest http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlveKatt/30104 Just to show what's wrong with the direction thingie. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/AlveKatt/30104_sm.png Rescue_Ship2 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlveKatt/29748 So far just Experimenting to see if it can be done. It looks very promising so far. The only thing that Irks me is that sprites that are bigger than the Scratch resolution gets resized to a maximum of Scratchs' resolution... I wanted to have big sprites for landscape to fly over... All graphics except the bat is homemade. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/AlveKatt/29748_sm.png SpaceArtNoPen1 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlveKatt/29697 Mayhem helped me clean up the code. Then I managed to make it work, just as I wanted! A thousand thanks! See http://www.konjak.org/chalk.htm to see where I have stolen my ideas. Instructions: a s d w makes the charachter move. To destroy the enemies, paint a single line that touches both the enemy and the balls they fire. I made it so you could paint with sprites that can show up over other sprites. But it looks bad. I'll probably put this projekt on ice till Scratch has gotten painting ontop of sprites implemented. I have ideas for other projects anyway. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/AlveKatt/29697_sm.png SpaceArt098 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlveKatt/29491 Mayhem helped me clean up the code. First stage complete, now I just need to make som graphics and a story to make it a complete game. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/AlveKatt/29491_sm.png
