I believe we lost the last patient. Fortunately, this patient is being treated with the new triple-strength antibiotic. Which will win the battle - the deadly brown bacteria or the new triple-strength green antibiotic. Click the green flag to start or re-start. Sit back and watch the battle between the deadly brown bacteria and the new green triple-strength antibiotic.

This project is being published as part of a series of tutorial lessons (Google dick baldwin toc) under the heading Computer Programming for Homeschool Students. Click the green flag to start or restart the program. Learn how to write an interactive animation that places a walking sprite on a moonscape. The sprite walks toward the mouse pointer and freezes in place if it catches the mouse pointer. It resumes walking again when the mouse pointer is moved. Perspective computations are used to create a 3D effect with the sprite becoming smaller and smaller as it walks away from the camera. Scratch Version 1.2.1 or later is required.

You must download and run this program locally to get it to run properly. It won't run properly in the online Scratch viewer This project is being published as part of a series of tutorial lessons (Google dick baldwin toc) under the heading Computer Programming for Homeschool Students. Click the green flag to start or restart the program. This program is a non-interactive animation. The animation tells the story of a young boy who is lost on the moon. He wanders around trying to find his way. Various animation tricks are used to create an illusion of perspective. This program is very similar to the program named Perspective01. However, in that program, the boy continually moves away from the camera. In this version, the boy wanders back and forth in a truly random fashion. Sometimes he moves towards the camera and sometimes he moves away from the camera.

StarDoors01

This project is being published as part of a series of tutorial lessons (Google dick baldwin toc) under the heading Computer Programming for Homeschool Students. Click the green flag to start or restart the program. This program is a non-interactive animation. The animation begins with red text on a black starry sky background in the tradition of the opening of a Starwars-style movie. The viewer seems to be moving toward the text because the text is growing in size. A very transparent sprite (the evil master of the empire) is standing on the left side of the Stage observing what is going on. After the text grows until it almost fills the Stage, it fades from view and the background switches to a moonscape scene. In the moonscape scene, the evil master of the empire is pacing back and forth on the moonscape thinking about his nemesis Duke Flywalker, his ally Dark Raider, and the love of his life Princess Lisa. Initially the evil master of the empire is very transparent. As time progresses, he becomes more opaque until he is completely opaque. Granted that he doesn't look like an evil master of the empire, but he disguised himself as a young boy. As the evil master of the empire paces, he thinks three different thoughts in a specific order. Periodically he stops, shrugs his shoulders, and speaks one of three different phrases. He appears to be speaking the phrases in a random order. After a few minutes, the program terminates leaving the evil master of the empire standing on the moonscape.
