Agent X Level I

My brother and I said to each other, "Let's both start with the idea of a guy escaping from a plane, and see what we come up with." His end result was Tigerguy's XT-42. Here's mine. You play as Agent X, our hero, the only survivor of the fateful day when his Alpha Team was massacred (every Agent received a letter of the alphabet, and the leader was Agent A). Now, X is on a top-secret mission over the Middle East to assassinate the leader of a terrorist group. That group just shot your plane with a missile, however, so you have to get off the plane before it goes down. This is just a simple 1st level (it only took me about 5 hours to perfect) but I'll be making a whole series, which will (I think) conform to Halo 1 in essence; 1 project for each level. IMPORTANT! DON'T CLICK ANY KEYS OR OBJECTS UNLESS THE GAME TELLS YOU TO! OTHERWISE IT WILL SCREW UP! JUST USE A AND D TO RUN LEFT AND RIGHT. HAVE FUN, AND DON'T FORGET TO HIT LOVE IT!

Sniper- Elite Version

I released this first version of Sniper Elite the day after I released the two first versions of Desert Sniping. In Desert Sniping, you just try to kill as many of the guys as you can before your time runs out. In Sniper Elite, they move around every few seconds, and they shoot back. It's pretty glitchy, because the bad guys have about 3 conflicting scripts on how to shoot and move, so sometimes they might take a while to die or else shoot you instantly instead of waiting a few seconds, but you've got plenty of health to see you through that. Even so, I'm pleased with how it turned out and I'll be releasing another version soon that will hopefully have most of the glitches fixed. I got the sound effects off of various internet soundbases. The song in the background is Chris Cornell's "You Know My Name."Have fun, and don't forget to hit Love It!

Desert Sniping v. 2.0

I shared Desert Sniping about an hour before this. The original runs perfectly on the Scratch program on my computer, but on the website the song ends about 3 seconds after the game. In version 2.0, that glitch is fixed, and the terrorist guy pops up faster, so it's a bit more challenging. Have fun and don't forget to hit Love It!

Desert Sniping

READ THIS! IMPORTANT!This project took me about 3 hours, and that was a lot shorter time than I had expected. I am quite pleased with how this turned out. Apart from a few extremely minor glitches, I couldn't find any serious flaw in the game. I hope you share this opinion. One thing to note is that you don't have to click on the terrorist to shoot him. Just hover the mouse pointer over him and he'll die. The sound effects came from various internet databases. Credit is given here to Metallica for their excellent background song "Don't Tread On Me."NOTE: I WAS DEBATING WHETHER TO USE DON'T TREAD ON ME, HIGHWAY TO HELL, OR YOU KNOW NAME FOR THE BACKGROUND SONG. IF YOU THINK I SHOULD USE ONE OF THE OTHER TWO, TELL ME AND I'LL MAKE A SWITCHED VERSION.Have fun, AND DON'T FORGET TO CLICK THE LOVE IT BUTTON!

Trivia With Mr. Lion

This is just a fun little project that I threw together in about 20 minutes. It's pretty simple, and if you know how to screw it up, then you can screw it up real easy. I'm planning on making a Part 2 that's a bit more complicated, but that'll probably take a while. As it is, have fun with this one. Also, don't hit the keys too fast repeatedly, or it glitches up, as well as damaging your keyboard. Good luck, and don't forget to hit the Love It button!

Maze v. 2

I released the original Maze project almost 2 years ago. I loved it, and still do. It's probably my best project (although that isn't saying much) but when I played it, I always felt like it was too easy. The monster guys were so easy to dodge. So, when I had some spare time, I finally just decided to take 5 minutes and make it a bit trickie and clean up a few loose ends. If you've ever played the original, you'll notice that the dragon is a new addition. If you haven't, that's more or less the only difference. although i cleaned up the background a little bit and made the monsters slightly smaller. I'm considering making a version 3 with yet another monster guy or maybe even an entirely new element, but I think I'll wait a bit and see how this one gets received first. Good luck!

It's kinda funny though!

Maze

This was much more diffucult to make than my recent pinball game. I borrowed some of the ideas of another maze game and made up the rest myself. The hardest thing was getting the blue barriers to solidify, but using a variable idea from another maze game I figured that out.

pinball

This is my first Scratch project. It's a simple pinball simulation. The hardest problems to solve were:* bouncing without 'sticking'* getting a random but not useless beginning direction* changing 'points' for touching objectsBouncing was based on IF-touching-color. The problem was, moving away a set number of steps didn't mean the ball was not touching anymore. We figured out how to use the direction of motion to 'jump back' away from the touch. REPEAT UNTIL was very useful.Randomizing direction was fun - we used a RANDOM 1 TO 2 to get go-left or go-right from a set range. Changing points on a touch was pretty easy once we got the hang of variables.
