Slider 1.0 (Beta/demo)

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/hmnwilson/509342_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />PLEASE DOWNLOAD BEFORE PLAYING!! You won't be able to get past the second level because it won't stay on the grid. Also, the level and lives don't show online.

I started this sometime in december, but thanks to the fact that I have a hard time coming up with decent level designs, this got put off as a side project. But I FINALLY decided to create an 8-level demo of what would be the first version of the game.

Instructions are in-game, but here they are anyway:

• You control the orange block. Use the arrow keys to move.
• When you press an arrow key, you don't stop until you hit a grey box or the edge. (You can't turn while you're moving, either.)
•DON'T TOUCH THE SPIKES. You only have 4 lives, and you lose one when you touch them.
•The green and red blocks are teleporters. Touching one sends you directly to the other.
• Get to the flashing blue box to complete the level.
•Your current level and lives are at the top when in the offline player.

Space attack

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/hmnwilson/431294_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />This is definitely not my best project. I was trying to make something simple and 3D-ish and this came out. I know, the scripts are awful (I don't know trig, if that would've made it better) so it's really buggy. I can probably make it better eventually.

Move left/right to dodge the bullets. They all move at different speeds, and the red ones move really fast so really watch out for those because they come out of nowhere usually when you're not expecting one. If you get hit, it'll take away one of your shields. Sometimes little blue things with crosses on them will come down. The light blue ones restore one shield and the dark blue ones restore all shields.

I can't remember who I got the music from.

Come on, let's everyone remix this and make it the biggest boulder run ever! This was started by avidonna.

New gradients

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/hmnwilson/324637_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />This will show you how to make some types of gradients you can't in the paint editor without these tricks, like diagonal, split and square. There might be some problems online but you don't have to download.

Press the right arrow to move on.

P.S. the quality is so bad because all the gradients took it past 11MB!

Light A Candle, Pass it on

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/hmnwilson/318909_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Light the candles, and add your own! Remix this and use the script in any of the candles. Started by aquastar.
Also, say something here when you remix:

Mazemaker: I changed the sofa and fireplace, you can now light the fireplace, and the room is dark!

Leelee89: Look at my candle for 15 seconds and see whar happens! Then keep looking for 10!

Maki: My candle pwnz

hmnwilson: Next time you buy a candle, try to find one that doesn't explode when lit.

Pumpkin shoot

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/hmnwilson/307072_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Halloween's tomorrow (at least where I live), and the project I *wanted* to make for this halloween isn't close to being finished. Unfortunately, it won't be finished anytime soon, so you'll have to wait until next year for me to release it. (I don't think I'll stop with scratch just YET...)

This was a rushed project I made in a day, so it could be better, but it's entertaining. This marks my second Halloween being a user on scratch!

Oh, right, the instructions:

When you see a pumpkin come out from somewhere, click to shoot it. It gets harder as the game goes on, to the point where it gets almost impossible.

How many points can you get before getting bored?

My score: 35

UPDATE: Apparently, I uploaded this exactly 365 days ago. Amazing, right?

Then set single stepping to turbo (shift+click Extras, then go to set single stepping and go to turbo speed) otherwise it sounds extremely wierd.
