Yey, I be makin' operating system simulation!

Ay tehsht, sumfing eye poot toogethor inn Anne our

Er, a test, something I put together in an hour.

It's a simple OS sim, but unfortunately, I don't have everything on. But the reason I'm uploading is that I made this with Streak (streak.t35.com) and I was wondering if it would upload properly. So yeah.

Zoom 2.0

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/cocoanut/760074_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Thanks to Greenflash for giving me something to remix! :D

This project shows what appears to be an image larger than the stage. But rather, it is four different images that scroll up and down and left and right when you press the arrow keys!

This is a remix based upon Greenflash's Zoom project. This basically uses the arrow keys to fluently scroll, rather than just show big sections at a time.

~Cocoanut

Greenflash's Notes
----------------------
This is a zoom in on a picture. You can move with the arrow keys. The rectangle at the bottom shows what part of the picture you are veiwing. Feel free to use with other pictures too!

Have fun!

Cocoanut's Exponent Calculator

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/cocoanut/758992_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Title says it all.
An exponent calculator.

It asks you the number and the exponent, and calculates it.

Download to see how it works.

Okay, now it's one sprite one script. It used to have to no sprites.... Whatever.

Cocoanut's Farhenheit/Celsius Calculator

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/cocoanut/754189_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />For me, it doesn't work online. Does it for you?
If not, download.

--------------------
Sorry for uploading a project EVERY DAY FOR THREE DAYS. You must think I have no life. Well, you'd be right about that. :P

This project was inspired by FloatingMagicTree's Fahrenheit to Celsius calc. But that only did it one way--this is a project that does it F to C, and vice versa.

I used my own scripts completely (it wasn't too hard), and I drew a little drop-down menu to select between C to F and F to C.

To use this calculator, click on the little arrow in the upper right-hand corner. It'll open a little menu. Select "F to C" or "C to F" to select the conversion. Now, simply type in the number in the question box and hit enter. Your answer will appear as the second item of the Conversions list! Voila!

Hey, guess what?!
FLAMING TROUT HAS BEEN REVIVED!!
This is my application to be accepted. It's a soundscape I created with LMMS.

I know It's not the greatest, but think it creates a distinctly alien feel, how about you?

Catch the Cat

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/cocoanut/748658_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />UPDATE: Now I'm using lists instead of normal variables. Not much else.

UPDATE: I've done a COMPLETE redesign, starting from scratch (no pun intended). This time around, I created two variables to sense the buttons a user is pressing, rather than saying "if user presses button x and button y", which was much easier, so now I have the numbers 0-9 available to press as well as the entire alphabet. So now I think the project is much better. :)

How fast are your reactions? Test them with Catch the Cat!

This project is a quick yet tedious way to test how fast you can react to numbers and letters. Every second, to variables represent numbers (one and zero, I was too lazy to make more: see later versions!) and letters (all a-z), and you must press BOTH keys AND click the cat to "catch" him.

Also, there's a timer at the bottom, which, of course, represents your time (in tenth-seconds).

Based off an earlier project that I deleted (though I wish I had it for reference!), this project was a simple reintroduction to Scratch programming, seeing as I was gone for so long.

Oh, and post your time!

Thank you!

Cocoanut Sloppy Caramelldansen

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/cocoanut/728172_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />A quick, sloppily done animation. But I wasn't in the mood to hand draw six to twelve whole frames! Instead I drew three, and then copied and reversed them. Yes, I know I'm lazy, but I'm not in the mood for anything fancy. The smoothest, most ideal animation would probably be somewhere around twelve to twenty-four frames, but not today.

Hand drawn on paper and colored with paint.NET.

Cocoanut drank two liters of Mountain Dew before uploading this project. XD

Caffeine and Cocoanut don't mix.

Or, chemically speaking, they mix quite a bit.

Hand-drawn Animation

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/cocoanut/711175_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />A simple hand-drawn animation. It's seven frames long, changing once every tenth of a second. I know, it's not traditional frames per second, but it works. It's basically a little something that I doodled in my spare time, then scanned it in and all that.
This is my first real project in a while (Cocoanut's Back doesn't count as a real project), almost, if not already, a year. I'm not sure. I don't have quite as much spare time on my hands, so that's why I haven't been updating. I know all of you have forgotten who I am at this point, but with this project I hope to bring the low number of fans I had back.
I hope you enjoy my comeback project.

Type the letters in to win. It's really easy, as there's only one word (but if you lose, the word will not be revealed), but it took a while for this word. I'm planning to add a word each day, and I should be done in the next four weeks or so (But, actually, I'm being lazy, and making about one word each four weeks).
