HACK - the game

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/blob8108/628874_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Ever fancied hacking into Microsoft? Google perhaps? Complete 5 missions that are emailed to you by other hackers, browsing a proper server filesystem, stealing windows 7 plans, uploading viruses, and cracking passwords. Download files and then open them and see what they are.

== Features: ==
* Server filesystem based on an improved AddZeros 'File browser - editable tree list'
* Download anything - some programs and files actually work!
* Joke servers (Microsoft use linux!)
* Funny downloads
* Download a portscanner
* Download a password cracker
* Delete server files

Thanks to AddZero for the file browser system.

== PLEASE MOD ==
Why not remix your own version, adding your own missions? Complete the game to find out how.

String Simulation

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/blob8108/623366_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />A string simulation supporting gravity and wind. Use the mouse to move the string and hold space to draw a picture using the string. You can move the circles - just click and drag. Click 'Auto' to stop the wind automatically changing.

Try disabling wind and gravity, then put your mouse inside the large circle and make tiny circle motions!

HOW IT WORKS:
There are about 14 hidden dots which make up the string. These move according to wind and gravity, and are then 'pulled' back into place by the dot above them in the string. The circles also 'push' them away if they get too close.

Blender 3D Tutorial

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/blob8108/357335_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Tutorial: How to use Blender to create a 3D cube, texture it, animate it rotating and load the animation into Scratch. Use the left & right arrow keys to move through the tutorial. You don't need to have used Blender before.

The finished rendered animation can be seen here:

Keep Idiots Busy! (3D)

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/blob8108/235214_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />How do you keep an idiot busy? Use the left/right arrows or click and drag with the mouse to find out!

I made this in blender, using a texture map with the writing on it from paint, then rendered it with a black background and imported the sequence of images into Scratch as costumes by dragging them into the Scratch window.

== HOW TO ==
If you want to know how to make this, I made a tutorial at

3d space stars animation

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/blob8108/169432_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />An animation of stars, flying through space, to see if anyone is interested or could use it. I found the stars animation as a movie file on my computer ages ago and converted it to a GIF so that Scratch could open it.

Press SPACE to see the animation of zooming up to either the Earth, mars on the moon (and yes the moon is made of cheese!)

3d plane game v2!

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/blob8108/157221_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Fly your plane through a 3D tunnel in space, avoiding obstacles by flying through holes in walls!

New features for v2 (as suggested from the comments on the last version):

* New level!
* Plane's shadow added, so you can see where your plane is in relation to the next hole.
* Mouse Control
* Cool Music (And hey, what's wrong with Techno? Techno music's cool, right?)

CONTROLS: use the MOUSE to move, and click or press space to do a roll (you'll need this for the last level!)

I was trying to make a 3D game, and this is what I came up with. It runs slowly in Scratch, but was fine for me in presentation mode and on the website.

Unfortunately I didn't get to finish the house, but I got quite far with it and so I thought I'd share it in case anyone was interested. Just press the green flag to start and space to pause. Hope you like it!

Or just want some fun? Kill the scratch cat, a random dragon or a stick man with bullets, bombs and matches! Choose your victim and then use the mouse to exterminate them and the surrounding landscape!

3d plane game! v1.1

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/blob8108/125971_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Fly your plane through a 3D tunnel in space, avoiding obstacles by flying through holes in walls! CONTROLS: use the arrow keys to move, and press space to do a roll (this doesn't do anything at the moment, I just put it in for fun.) I was trying to make a 3D game, and this is what I came up with. It's occasionally a bit slow because Scratch is slow, but for me it ran perfectly in presentation mode in Scratch and on the website.

I made a NEW VERSION! Check it out at http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/blob8108/157221 , with a new level, mouse contol, the plane's shadow added, and cool music!
(this version doesn't have these things)
