I have provided all the basic scripting that you should need and a cursor "playground" so that you can see how your cursor will work in your project. You can alter the content to fit your project as this version is only a sample. However, the scripting of the cursor itself shouldn't need much alteration. Please comment and, if you download this project to use in your own project(s), please refer to me (Kitty3) or my website displayed below: http://www.tardiskeeper.com/ Don't forget to press love it if you.... well.... love it. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/247272_sm.png Sheep- interactive http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/206927 Press the green flag and move your mouse over the sheep in the field (the cartoon ones only) to hear them bleat. Although why they bleat on command I'm not sure. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/206927_sm.png Singing Kittens (sort of) http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/206886 Press the green flag to begin if it is not automatic. You can use this in your projects as an alternative font to the default. If you want to use it, here is how: 1. Download this project into Scratch (you need to have Scratch installed for this) 2. Once downloaded, double click the "Curly CAPS" sprite at the bottom 3. Click the "Costumes" tab 4. Click the "Start" bar at the bottom left of your screen (outside of the Scratch application) 5. Click "My Computer" 6. Double-click "Local Disk (C:)" 7. Go to "Program Files" and double click 8. Then "Scratch" 9. Double-click "Costumes" 10. Then "Letters" 11. Create a new folder and name it as you wish. I suggest "Curly handwritten caps" 12. Revert back to Scratch (the program, not the folder) 13. For each letter (costume), right-click it and click "Export" 14. Save each in the new folder that you have created 15. When you want to use this font, click "Import" and open the image of the letter that you want to use. Or you open it directly via the folder icon. That's it. Please refer to me (Kitty3) if you use this font in your projects. And don't forget to comment! http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/206026_sm.png Sonic Screwdriver- Interactive http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/205373 Instruction in game under "Help". For information about the Sonic Screwdriver, click "Fact File" Warning: The sound of the sonic screwdriver at full power is quite painfully high. You may wish to turn down your speakers or earphones before trying it! Click "Sonic Screwdriver" and "Sonic Screwdriver at full power" to hear the corresponding sound effects. I created the full power version by raising the pitch of the orignal sound with Audacity, a free audio editing program. Credits: Created by Kitty3 (real name will not be displayed for security purposes) Original Sonic Screwdriver image is from an unknown source Original Sonic Screwdriver sound effect was produced by the BBC Based around the BBC's science fiction series "Doctor Who". Will you press the button? http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/188694_sm.png Marble sprite- proj. piece http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/167247 This is a basic marble sprite that could be used in projects. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/167247_sm.png The Dials http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/159470 You may need to press the green flag or "Enter" on your keyboard to begin, if it does not begin automatically. When you begin, both pointers should be between 1 and 3 (the "pointers" are the upside-down triangles. Click a dial to turn it, the number above should change in accordance. There must be the right combination of numbers to succeed. This is how to do it: 1. Click each of the wheels until you think that the correct number is touching the pointer. Do this for both. There is a two-figure code. 2. Click "Activate" (in between the dials). If the code is correct, the "Correct!" beacon (they are below the dials) will light (green). Otherwise the "Wrong!" beacon will light (red). Good luck and please comment. Please visit: http://www.tardiskeeper.com/ http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/159470_sm.png Butterfly and Tree Sprites http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/151597 This is a hand drawn butterfly sprite and tree sprite that I drew with my tablet and stylus. You can use it in your projects. However, if you do use it, please refer to me (kitty3) in your project. This sprite can be used for non-commercial uses only. The butterfly flaps it's wings continuously (if it doesn't, click the green flag). However, if you click it, it blinks. It is programmed so that it blinks whichever costume it's on. The tree sprite 'wakes up' when you click on it and remains awake until you click it again. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/151597_sm.png Spinner Decider http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/141983 I have made a decision spinner which can be used in people's projects. I will allow you to use this in your projects as you wish under one condition. Please keep the "www.tardiskeeper.com" tag at the bottom and refer to me (Kitty3) in your project. Instructions on how to use the default version online: You may need to press the green flag if the project does not start automatically Press the "SPIN" button and the spinner will spin and land on a random option. If it does not land on an option (this may happen sometimes as it is random), press "SPIN" again. This is how to customise it for your own project: 1. Download this project. 2. Change the text of the options to your own preferances. The "Option ..." text is only a defalt. The text pieces are treated as separate sprites. 4. Add it to your project. But please use it IN a project. Don't treat it as a project in itself as that is just cheating. 3. You can "show" the notifier. I designed it so that it will display which option (it identifies by colour) the spinner has landed on but I've had some problems with it so I've hidden it but not deleted it. Any suggestions on the source of the problem and how to fix it? http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/141983_sm.png Scratch Hanukkah http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/141596 This is my Hanukkah entry for the Scratch holiday logo competition (or something like that). http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/141596_sm.png Whitham Falls adventure puzzle game http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/141566 I made this game a while ago (I have only recently got to fixing the bugs. After I had made it, I had had enough) It took me forever (not literally) and there are a few minor bugs which I can't be bothered to fix. but the game mostly works. Please comment genoruously. A few 'Love it's would be nice. Here are the basic instructions: Welcome to the Withm Falls adventure puzzle game. In this game you are controlling Eric, the stick figure character. Sonds like a typical computer game except, rather than being the style where you control your character with your keyboard, you can click some objects and they will respond. You must help Eric to pass all the levels. Try clicking everywhere until you get a suitable response. Remember, some clickable objects may only be useful after you have passed another part of the level. Don't worry, this particular game isn't very challenging so you shouldn't end up stuck on one level for ages. The aim is to hep Eric overcome one or more obstacles at each level. Good luck and get clicking! http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/141566_sm.png Interactive Kitten- Cute! http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/141490 Press the green flag or "Enter" to start. Move your mouse just below the kitten's paw to... Why should I tell you all the fuctions? Work them out yourself. Get clicking!! Extra note: Press "1" for a white background, "2" for a yellow background, "3" for a orange background, or "4" for a light blue background. http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/kitty3/141490_sm.png Random Scratch Tip Generator #2 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/kitty3/137749 This is a my second edition of the 'Random Scratch Tip Generator'. You may need to press the green flag to begin if it does not start automatically. Click the 'Generate Tip' button at the bottom of the screen and it will display an animated sequence. Then it will display the randomly selected tip for using Scratch. There are only 5 tips in total, I'm afraid.
