This was a scrolling adventure I made for a book report at school. It is based off of the book by the Miller Brothers. I used the original script for Archknight's Adventures and built up on it. This took me a very very long time so please comment. GO TO THE WEBSITE FOR THE BOOK AT <A href="http://<a href=" www.codebearers.com? http:>www.codebearers.com">http://www.codebearers.com

Gamer's Vista OS v1.1

EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it!KGameLover1 takes not one, not two, but THREE huge steps in Scratch development! He revealed on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 1:48 PM EST to the Scratch community that he had finally finished his secret project; a Scratch OS! With this, he has now posted it: Gamer's Vista OS!!! He says: "It took me a long time to make this, particularly because I built this from, well, from scratch ( haha ). No, really," he says, " I didn't copy off of anybody's project this time. I took one sound from fabprogrammer_123's program and that's all." This means this will be KGameLover1's first original project in years. "To celebrate,I'm holding my first contest! It will take place in my new gallery, Gamer's Challenge!, and the top 5 projects, voted on by me, some of my friends, and the rest of the Scratch community. See the gallery for the rules."This concludes our story for today.I'm Bob Williams, signing off.UPDATE:There WAS a LOT more items included, but me upgrading to Scratch 1.3 corrupted my data as I was putting finishing touches on it as it installed in the background. Kind of stupid, but at least I added a little Jaws fish that's like a Desktop Buddy that follows your mouse. this will be version 1.1.Thanks and please download/love it! Also, anyone is welcome to use this as long as they give me credit. Thanks again! KGameLover1

Asteroids - Voyager Edition *working title

This is a take on the classic game Asteroids! I downloaded the
soundtrack and images from dmagee's project ( see below ) Story: You wake up in your spaceship in the orbit of the moon and all of a sudden, you see some huge rocks and some aliens headed right towards you! You prep your cannons and get ready to fire!
Gameplay: Use the arrow keys to turn and the up arrow key to accelerate. Down does the opposite. Press the space bar to fire. There are 3 powerups, the gears give you 10 more health, shield saves you from 2 hits, 2 can be "stacked" for 4 hits of protection. The Superman shield gives you 10 seconds of super powers in which you can not die, and you can ram asteroids You have 100 health, with no max health, each hit takes away your health (big, 50, Medium, 30-40, and small, 20) See how far you can get, and good luck. Kudos to: dmagee for some of the script that comes from his game Asteroids: Infinate ( Note: dmagee it should be Infinite ) Void.
Tell me what you want in the next version!
Thanks!

KGameLover1's Marble Racer

INSTRUCTIONS:Use the arrow keys to race your marble around the track to the finish line. If you slide off onto the grass, it will slow you down. What's your best lap time? Mine's 1.01HOW IT WORKS:The marble has variables for its x and y velocities. The arrow keys make it accelerate by changing the velocities. The grass slows you down by multiplying the velocities by a fraction. THINGS TO TRY: * Make your own tracks by drawing a new background. Just use the same shade of green for the grass. * Make a new costume for the ball. * Make obstacles (even moving obstacles!) that slow you down or stop you, or ramps that speed you up.

I have made the game easier, made the kitty say up longer for the timing-less, and moved the kitty's starting position because I found when I tried to duck, it didn't go very far down and I automatically lost. Also I changed the costumes. That's all!

The controls:

Jump- up arrow

Dive- right arrow

Duck- down arrow

BreakDancer Guy

INSTRUCTIONSClick the boombox and then the other icons at the top of the screen.HOW I MADE THISThe boombox makes a beat and *broadcasts* messages to the dancer. The dancer responds by moving and whirling. This guy took pictures of himself doing k-kicks and ninja freezes and cut them out in photoshop. I edited his ninja image. Then I made it so that when you click the icons at the top, the dancer busts out with a phat move.MORE IDEASIt would be fun to add other dancers that respond to the broadcasts. Then there'd be lots of dancers at the same time.Signed, KGameLover1

INSTRUCTIONS

If you want to control one of the people, just click on them, and they will follow the mouse. Click on someone else to switch.

HOW I MADE THIS

I made the people look like they're moving far away and close up by setting their size based on their 'y' position.

Skating_Snowman Add-on

Use the left and right arrow to use your legs, use both legs at the same time to jump. Avoid the holes in the ice and be sure to keep your balance! How did I create this game?I made a static background, without texturing so you can't see it doesn't move. The objects are only scaled, and seem to move because their centerpoint is in the vanishing point (the point where the two edges of the ice intersect, (0, 180)).The holes are detected by ice-coloured skates. The holes are placed at a random distance of each other, there are four holes so there can be multiple holes at the same time. The cat comes at random time intervals at a random side of the ice.I used a variable called input to stop the arrow keys from working when they shouldn't work.It took me about 59 minutes to make the add-on. Kudos to the original maker, PTT.
