So far only the english version is complete - can you help, by singing in one of the other languages?

Would like to add animations for the ingredients coming in and the products coming out, but no time! Now updated to use the text-handling strings in v1.4, allowing for easier insertion of new items. It will generate 10 unique strings and play each one once with a press of the space bar before reshuffling the 10 random materials and products, so you are certain to get no duplicates in the 1st ten goes.

Creates a list of all possible questions and answers for multiplying the numbers 0-10 and then selects 20 questions randomly from the list. using the list rather than just random numbers each time prevents duplicate questions.

Chess Recorder

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Mayhem/298314_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />A simple chess board, courtesy of Chalkmarrow. CONTROLS: Move the selection cursor with the arrow keys and press space to pick up/put down a piece. As you play the game, it records your moves and you can then save the moves so far by clicking "save". Clicking Replay will reset the board and then move the pieces to play out the saved game. It comes complete with a very short game in which white wins extremely quickly ;)... This is a chessboard with a recorder only - it DOES NOT check to see if moves are legal, nor is there an opponent to play against. It could be used to play a game against another scratcher, by simply downloading, making your move, saving and re-uploading each turn. The game played would gradually build up in the memory.

Alien Tricky Words Mk III

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Mayhem/284586_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Designed for use with the UK primary school "Letters and Sounds" program. Tricky Words are words that cannot be read or splet phonetically, although note that some early phase "tricky words" become non-tricky in later phases as new phonememes are taught.Choose the earliest and latest phases you want to draw words from (for non UK people, phase 2 is easiest, phase 5 hardest). The alien will then say a "Tricky Word" from that phase - a tricky word being a word that cannot be decoded with synthetic phonics.Click on the screen to go to the next word.Mk III uses a list to ensure that every word is shown, but it assigns them into a random order and then cycles through that list for 60 seconds.****This is designed for use with adult supervision, to check the childrens ability to read the randomly generated tricky words. Could be used as practice, or for assessment. Can be used on the IWB in a classroom, or at home with a parent for homework.****Possible improvements:A self-checking facility where audio of the word is played before moving onto the next word.An "assesment mode" where the set of words from the chosen phase or phases is cycled through just once.

My first project in a while, primarily made to try out the new list function.Edit: Replaced the speech baloon with sprites and added a little animation for fun.Edit: Added some controls for choosing the letter sets from 1-7. Added a timer. Added the option to repeat the game without changing the letter sets.

Click to change the phoneme. Not a game, more of a display for use by the teacher, who can put it on the whteboard when testing phonics knowledge instead of using flashcards. My first project in a while, primarily made to try out the new list function. A pity that the say balloon and text is so small - I wonder if that can be hacked...

After 15 cars, it will draw a pictogram.Amazingly it only uses 1 Sprite and 1 script. I recently updated it, speeding it up and using a list to store the data which allowed my to shorten to the code by using more "repeat" loops, AND get rid of four variables. I was also able to reduce the amount of scripts from 2 to 1 by realising that I didn't need to change the background, just stamp a new background on top of it using the existing sprite.
