Press space to turn instructions on and off. Then hover over a item to see it's instructions.

Hint: Most pen types look better with bigger pen sizes.

Oh yes, there is a small glitch; if you are in ruler mode, you can't rubb out.

Advanced Paint-remixed

First of all I would like to give credit and much thanks to those who inspired this project. Add zero with his color picker, and the author of "tech paint."(tech paint far surpasses this project. I encourage you to look for it!)Also credit NXTGEEK who baisicly made this project. (I only did the arrow you can click on to hide/show the toolbar.)

OKay, lets jump into the tutorial.(DO NOT SKIP ANY OF IT!)

GETTING STARTED
Are you ready? Exellent!
First we will start out with a brief explantion of the interface and order of operations.
The first thing I would like you to do is to click anywhere( perferrably where you can see plainly) in the white space. You should see cross hairs appear where you just clicked. If not try again.(in a differant spot.) Next, please click on the top button that is labled "Draw." You should notice two things happen. 1) the cross hairs bigin to spin. 2) The button you just clicked no longer says "Draw" but intstead it reads "Place tool." These two things indicate that you are in draw mode.(you can guess that draw mode means the mode in which you draw...am I correct?) Now press that same button again. It should revert back to saying "Draw" and the cross hairs should stop spinning. Very good!

THE TOOLS

now we will discuss the three main tools and how to use them. First will will explore the SG Line tool and then the spokes and pattern tool(that last one is going to be fun.)

THE SG LINE TOOL: This tool can be use to create a segmented line.(with mutiple verticies.) Since you are in place tool mode(remember? the cross hair should not be spinning.) click on the SG Line button (it will briefly look like you pushed it in...if not try pressing it more near the center. If you have any trouble with the other buttons, do this same thing to them.) and then click on the location you desire to begin your line.(the crosshairs should appear there.) Now acivate draw mode.(by pushing that button on the top.) and click anywhere on the white besides where the crosshairs are. Do this several times. You will notice that after two clicks, the hub(cross hairs) move to the vertex(singular for verticies) you just made. This can be useful, esp. when we talk about the spokes tool. Oops! im ahaed of myself already! One more thing about the SG Line. If you hold dawn the left mouse button, you can freehand draw to you hearts content.(remember it still acts an SG line though.)

THE SPOKES TOOL:
With this tool you can create spokes that radiate from the hub. You simply 1) choose the hub location. 2) activate draw mode(if it is not already active.) 3) click anywhere besides the hub. If you hold down the mouse and move it in a circuler pattern around the hub you can make odd wheels or cool tiedie patterns!(use the color picker to change colors.)

FILLING IN THE GAPS: I know you are so anxious to get to patterns... but there are some gaps that need to be filled. mainly, changing the pen size. (the color picker is self explanitory.) To change the size of the pen(indicated by a meter on the top right hand corner.) You simply slide that black ball back and forth. Ah yes! another essential. Earasing. You can use the Clear tool(which is marked "clear" and looks like a dumpster.) to completely earse your work. Or you can you the regular eraser to erase small bits of your work. The eraser acts just like a white pen(because it is.) , which simply means that you can use any of the pen tools to make wierd earased patches.

PATTERNS. (BE WARNED! YOU CAN REALLY MESS UP THE LOOK OF YOUR WORK IF YOU DON'T DO THIS CORRECTLY!)
Finally we get to the last topic: Patterns. you create a pattern by selecting the hub position (like always) and then you go into draw mode. (like always) However, here it becomes a bit differant. You click on the place where you want your patter to start. Let it go for a while, and whatch it change. Once you have done this,(rember? No skipping insructions.) increase the speed slider (all of those sliders effect the pattern tool) BY ONE ONLY(it should be at 2 now.) Your pattern will become differant now. If you want to stop making a pattern or want to start in a differant place, simply click the pattern button(it is slanted and has black text. this is not the same as the pattern tool button.) Now you can click on a differant place and start your pattern from there, or you can exit draw mode and select a differant tool. If you are wondering what the LH and RH sliders are for. Those are the amout of degrees it turns when the pen get to close or to far away from the hub. Mess around with them a little. BE CAREFUL THOUGH. YOU CAN REALLY MESSUP YOUR WORK!

Click on the blue arrow to hide/show the toolbar. You have to remember to click on draw beforehand though.

Almost every thing in this project was desighned and drawn and made by NXTGEEK. I (123go) only did the toolbar hide/show thing. The sounds are curtisy of the Microsoft Corperation.

You look after the little pet. You can click on things and play games to boost your happieness and get money. You can use the money in shops to buy items to play with, and food for it to eat.

You access most things by clicking on them, but for some things you need to press that number/letter/key on your keyboard.

This game is not finished yet, I will add some more evolves and games, but I hope you like this game so far! :)
