NO REMIXES OR DOWNLOADS YET!!! THIS IS NOT A FULL VERSION OF THE GAME, ITS JUST A TEST!!! I DON'T WANT PEOPLE REMIXING BEFORE I FINISH THE FULL THING!!

Arrows Move. Hit the number keys to select a part of your space station, then use the space bar to detach that part.

Wings & lower half can be destroyed separately, but if the center piece is destroyed you lose.

No way to beat it yet, just working on the controls, the interface/HUD, and the destructibility. All you can do now is fly and die :)

Puzzle Ball (version 0.1)

CONTROLS:

Down Arrow: Switch Ball Modes
Right/Left Arrows: Move
Up Arrow: Accelerate upwards

'P' Button: Pause/Unpause

This is a really really really early test version for a game idea I had. The full game, funny enough, would involve a flying squirrel...

Gamer Guide 08

Welcome to the first edition of Iron Man's Gamer Guide!

This is for all of you Scratch users out there who like to not only make games, but play them as well. There are a lot of hot titles that are going to be released this year. You need to know what they are, when they are coming, and if they are on your system!

I've picked 2 dozen of what I consider the most promising games coming out later this year. You can search for games either by genre or by release date.

Get your gaming info from Iron Man, for the best organized and most flashy Scratch gaming news.

NOTE: this project will be updated periodically to reflect changing release dates, etc. I will also try and add the ESRB ratings when they come out, so you will know which games you can/should play!

Since some of the later levels require precision flight, some players may have had trouble beating those areas. For all those who need practise flying, rejoice! The Iron Man Flight Sim is here!

I made all of his body parts as separate layers in Photoshop, these parts are shown here. This allowed me to pose my character for the many different costumes used in the game.I hope you enjoy learning a little bit more about Iron Man!

Special thanks to Archmage for his excellent work on side-scrolling in Scratch. Without being able to study his earlier projects, I may have never figured out side-scrolling.

Special thanks to Dan for all of his help in testing and trouble-shooting the game.

Special thanks to Wodunne for his support and advice.

It was fun to make, and is hopefully fun to view as well. The timeline events are all true events from my life, selected to showcase the features of my timeline. You can go between events by clicking on the dots on the timeline, or by using the space key or arrow keys. Let me know if you like it!

Air Quality Game

Here is another one of my journalism-based projects. My goal with this one was to explore ways to report the results of air quality tests. Our students will be testing the air quality in a few weeks, and this is just one example of how they could convey the data they collect without resorting to boring charts or graphs.Note that this is not based on any actual data or research, this is merely an example to inspire the students, and the greater Scratch community as well.

Ron Burgundy Goes to Print

Welcome to the first issue of Ron Burgundy's Scratch Magazines! This is the first in what I hope will some day be a series. This project uses the Magazine Template that I shared earlier this week to make an easy-to-use Scratch magazine. This first issue focuses on basics of journalism, or as Burgundy calls them, the 4 Pillars of News Greatness! Stay tuned for later versions, which will focus on things like Reporting, Production, Ethics or Editorials!NOTE: Many of the sprites in this project will say something if clicked, so keep exploring! Also, when clicked, the byline will give you a biography box about me, the author!SOURCES: Most of the images in this project are from Google images, from sites about the movie Anchorman. The newspaper pages come from their respective newspapers.

Path of an Invader

This is my second Scratch project that explores ways of telling stories, or journalism, through interactivity. As the credits say, this project was inspired by a real story, but the facts are not accurate. This is purely for example purposes. If any of you have projects that deal with novel ways of communicating facts or journalism, let us know!

Interactive Magazine Template

I created this template in about an hour. It could be easily used to tell a story with a group of graphics. The fourth page is left blank because I intend it to be a space where a more interactive piece would go, like a mini game or an interactive graph or something. The images on the last page (page 6) can be cycled through, so you could show a bunch of images on the last page. Notice that the captions are set to scroll in conjunction with the images. I will be posting some actual magazines later that use this template. Feel free to remix and put up your own scratch magazines!

The Food Comparison Game

This is a kind of fun little project. It's purpose is to allow the user to compare data between multiple stores or locations through the use of an interactive map. The user picks their two stores to be compared, and the comparisons pop up.The structure for this program started as another project I am working, which is still not finished (that project is much deeper, more involved and will take much longer). I adapted it to compare food prices precisely to show how easy it can be adapted. This type of structure could be used to compare prices or data between anything, through a nice interactive map as the "overworld."NOTE: the images in this project come from google, not from the actual dining halls. Aso, all of the prices in this project are purely fictional, they are included not to show actual data, but to show how real data could be conveyed.
