(fixed) CRATES- need help

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/FoxDur/701207_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />This is a project that I remixed to help WiiMaster. I fixed the two glitches, as well as a third. Also, now the magnet is only on when the mouse is down.

Original Notes:

i need some help with a simulation im making called Crates. i need it that the metal crate doesnt go through the floor if you move the magnet there, and that the magnet works like a roof- so that the crate does go on top of the magnet, so it looks realistic.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

i forgot to say. click to change the crate style.

/-\-/-\-/-\-/-\-/-\-/-\-/-\-/-\-/-\-/-\-/-\-/-\-/-\

when im finished this game, when its fixed, i will have more crates, and tools, and water too.

by the way... do you liek the patterns i made?

I'm also coding a website for some of my art (I wanted to code a website with html, and had no better idea). So that will be up soon.

Kizel623 and the Quest for the Cake

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/FoxDur/579380_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Happy (early) Birthday Kizel623!

By the way, the animation is really bad. Normally I would do it frame by frame, but I didn't have a lot of time to do this in. Usually, I'm completely against this kind of animation. Oh, also, it makes it load on the internet, which is good, because it's not worth downloading.

Also, I know I'm terrible at drawing people. I assure you, Kizel623 would look nothing like that in real life.

No, this isn't for real. I have no intention of making "Kizel623 and the Quest for the Cake." Unless he wants me to and we come up with a decent plot line, that is.

Anyway, enjoy!

This is the randomness collab, from Fortnight Productions! It will be open to entries until I have enough, but the sooner the better. I would recommend leaving a comment saying that you're making an entry so I don't close it when you're almost done.
----------------------------
Everything else is in the project.

I have no idea how popular this will become, but please forgive me if your clip doesn't get in because the project becomes over 10 mb. If this happens, I will make more parts, so if your clip isn't in the first, it isn't gone, it will simply be in the next.

By the way, this is my 85th project!

Yes, I did draw that sprite, and would appreciate if you gave me credit if you used it, as well as a link to what you made here so I can see it.

What do you think?

--------------------------------------

Oh, almost forgot. Left and right arrow keys to move, up arrow to jump.

If you find a glitch, please tell me.

Much thanks to Coolex, who told me what he thought the glitch in the java player was, and how to fix it. I think it should work online now.

Notice how the farther back it is, the slower the snow moves, and other fun things.

Puddle Visualizer (1.0)

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/FoxDur/548316_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />UPDATE: Because the website doesn't support microphones, and many people don't have microphones anyway, I added a feature that makes it random, not only loudness. Switch between loudness and random at the bottom of the screen.

Based on the newgrounds puddle visualizer, I present to you a 2d version! It doesn't need to be downloaded, though I recommend it with a microphone, which it does need to be downloaded for.

I know it's a small space, but when I tried to make it full screen, the script would have had over 2880 blocks (and yes I did make that script, but it lagged so much even in turbo speed that the project was rendered pointless. I plan to try to make an updated version with multiple sprites, and then I could possibly get that full screen effect I wanted. Until then, this is how big it is.

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/FoxDur/507088_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />A simple script makes the plant move around the wall, and if a branch touches the edge it dies.

It runs fine for me, but for some it may be slow online.

I recommend turbo speed.

Photo Browser 1.1

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/FoxDur/503909_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Within two months and one week it has 1000 views! (July 8, 2009)

Update: I added some different pictures (I drew them, so please give credit if you use), and I added transitions between different pictures in slideshow mode. Another update coming soon...

I've been working on this for a while, then I lost the file. Luckily, I found it again, finished it, and here it is.

If you can't tell what to do with the button, hold your mouse over it and then a tooltip will come up. Thanks for the inspiration of tooltips to paddle2See, his project (the one with the tooltips) can be found at http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Paddle2See/73723.

To remix this with your own pictures, just go to the photo sprite and add delete, or move around costumes. You don't have to do anything else, it does all the thinking and adjusts the settings accordingly.

If you find a bug, or have a suggestion, please leave a comment!

Have Fun!

Dragging Engine

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/FoxDur/503751_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />UPDATE 4: Removed no slip dragging one, added another FoxDur so you can see how two work together.

UPDATE 3: Press space to see the scripts.

UPDATE 2: I fixed the glitch where if you dragged another over the foxdur one it would go with it as well. Now it still glitches if you drag the foxdur on top of another, but if you drag another on top of the foxdur or you have multiple foxdurs, it works just fine.

UPDATE: I added two more to compare against. The one called "FoxDur" is mine, the one called "regular" is the average, and the one called "regular (with no slip dragging)" Is regular, but with my other new addition, which means that no matter how fast you go you don't lose it.

This is a simple dragging engine I decided to try to make, because I have seen way to many where the sprite goes to the mouse pointer, regardless of where you started to drag it.

I know you could accomplish this by unlocking a sprite, but that would make it go to the front when it's being dragged, which you don't always want.

Feel free to use this in your own projects, that's what I made it for. I would appreciate a comment though, so I can see what you made!

Trig Scrolling

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/FoxDur/487526_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Hooray, I learned how to use trig for directional scrolling from http://scratch.mit.edu/pr
ojects/tro95/485891.

Thanks to Tro95 for his excellent trig tutorial!

Use the left and right arrows to move and the up arrow to go.

Because of the request of loch157, I have written the script out in text;

On the arrow:

When green flag clicked, go to x 0 y 0, point in direction 90, set scroll x to 0, set scroll y to 0.

Forever when right arrow pressed turn clockwise 5 degrees, the reverse for left arrow.

(still in forever loop)

If key up arrow pressed, change scroll x by 0-sin of direction, change scroll y by 0-cos of direction.

On the scrolling thing;

forever go to x scroll x+110, y scroll y+78.

I have also added a feature so that if you press space you can see what the scripts look like.
