weirdxylophone

This is a weird xylophone. It has one octave of C major, but with F# and G# thrown in for some reason. It quantizes notes by syncing them to a beat; the quant parameter controls how far apart the beats are (and also the length of the notes). <3

This is just a ship you can control with the arrow keys, and a planet with an unrealistic sort of gravity. Also, zooming stars! <3

These are just some shapes that relaxedly spin & float, with a sprinkling of piano. We just got a drawing tablet & I've never had one before so this is the first thing I've drawn. WAit actually no second, after that crazy duck. <3

twinkle

This is a mildly adaptive genetic algorithm. The squares are rewarded for being hit (or even brushed) by three balls that bounce around randomly. More importantly, they twinkle. <3

waterwheel

This is a waterwheel! It turns faster when there are more drops touching it. The quote is a traditional labor song, of unknown origin. It appeared on the cover of the Constitution of the American Miners' Association in 1864: "Step by step, the longest march Can be won, can be won; Single stones will form an arch, One by one, one by one. And, by union, what we will Can be all accomplished still, Drops of water turn a mill, Singly none, singly none." <3

mobile

This is an interactive musical mobile. The balls will try to follow the mouse cursor from a distance, & they'll stick if you get close. I've been practicing stickiness. <3

wiggledrum

This is a funky little drum machine. Put the dots in front of the stick, & it plays them as it passes by. <3
