Super Smash Brothers (Brawl?)

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/fbboi999/127209_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />___---Super Smash Bros!---___

Beta #1- March 24, 2008

It's pretty good but there's MUCH more to do (see below)... IT WILL GET MUCH BETTER, MORE LOVE-ITS = BETTER VERSION NEXT TIME! Please just show some interest and I'll keep working (harder). I didn't test it a whole lot but... that's why they call it beta-TESTING.

please comment, download, and love-it! may lag online, so DOWNLOAD FOR BEST RESULTS!

Suggestions are WELCOME! plz also look at my "to do list" and tell me your favorite idea (so I can see if people think it's important)

CONTROLS: You're Captain Falcon, beat Ness.

Hopefully you already know the general concept= knock him off the edge.

Arrow Keys to move/jump
a=falcon punch
s="raptor boost"
d= falcon "dive" (not really a dive... just the name)
f= falcon kick
z= normal punch/kick
HINT: press z 4 times within 2 seconds and you'll do a combo!
t= taunt (show me your moves!)

TO DO :(notes to self/the public...)don't steal my ideas or I WILL flag your project, especially if it's popular because of one of my ideas)

Set up grab for falcon on his move that can grab!
Don't forget about CanIAttackVariable! don't forget about interrupting attacks!
**more changes with difficulty!**
***more characters/stages!
*** PKThunder!
*edge grabs!!!*
change AI to keep Ness from running off the side occasionally!
Including more moves?!
***FINAL SMASHES????***
**New Modes (i.e. set the stock urself, timed, etc.)**
add music (if it doesn't cause lag)

Credits: Spriters-Resource for sprites/background
Archmage for many many scripts, for movement, knockback, AI, and probably something else! LOOK AT HIS PROJECTS! He's awesome!
My school, for having Spring Break right after Brawl came out, inspiring me to make this.
Other people on Scratch who play this, and hopefully love it!

Other notes/FAQ: I will be releasing versions as different projects, not updating the same one, so I (and everyone else...) can see my progress

I put about 15 hours of work into the BETA version... so at least don't flame me, because I'd get mad.

I realize there are glitches. Once again try to HELP me, don't remind me of that. don't just say "omg glitchy"

Also, this game HAS double jumps, you just have to tap the up arrow for the double jump variable/scripts to work right, otherwise you can cheat... help me if you can think of a better way for me to work that script

PS: I know it isn't totally Brawl, just SSB, and right now the game is basically in easy mode... I'll let you pick in the next version(s)

Thanks!

Of course IF this is not the 100,000th one then this is practically pointless. Lol.

SCRATCH ON!

P.S. I know it's not a real, special game or anything... so don't tell me that it's dumb.

By the way.. This IS the one that got scratch TO 100,000 overall projects for the first time!

Super Mario 64 and 1-2, fixed some

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/fbboi999/99036_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />the second SM64 on Scratch so far. There are 4 all new levels, and a new boss. Most of the green (around Mario) was deleted. Enjoy!

I edited it, fixed some movement.

Still buggy from previous version(s) but I did what I set out to do

Racing AI Example

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/fbboi999/98282_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />This is a simple example where the car just follows a chain of waypoints that move back and forth. If you use more waypoints (at corners), it will look more realistic.

I edited this some for chalkmarrow... I added a racecar you control.

arrow keys to move

PS: I added a few extra little things too chalkmarrow.

Warning: Hard! You can only go as fast as the AI car (even if you change its speed)... I think

Icebounce New New

<img src="http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/fbboi999/90815_sm.png" width="148" height="111" border="1" alt="" />Based on Paddle2See's project

A fun little game where you bounce pucks into a target area.

Your sliding speed depends on how fast you move your mouse.

You get one point for every bounce off a wall and extra points if you land in the target area.

Click once on the Maroon puck by the Start point to select it, then drag it in the direction you want it to go. Once the puck is clear of the black circle, it will fire off on it's own.

Experiment with different speeds and strategies. If you find the controls too twitchy or too dead, you can dial them up or down by adusting the Sensitivity slider. The arrow keys can also be used to adjust the Sensitivity.

Have fun!

Stuff I changed: I made it so you can choose easy/med/hard. And there is a cheat to make the target bigger (DON'T POST HOW TO CHEAT IF YOU FIND IT) I changed the scoring some so I had to take away the score flasher (It's still in the program though if someone adds it back)

I fixed some of the code so that you can't see the pucks at the beginning.

And I'm still working on this!

My highscore: 423
