Project Tips

This project will give you some tips on how to make your projects. It will also tell you how to share your projects with the world. I got inspierd from Jens to make this project. I will make some more later. My next one will teach you some hints about Scratch.

Paper Racers

A slightly improved version of my favorite project. Draw on the paper and see the little cars react. Controls for blue car are the arrows, up accelerates and down decelerates, left and right steer. The second car uses the WASD keys in the same fashion. Click a writing utensil to use it and hold down the mouse on the screen to draw. The blue marker ink slows down the car slightly, the pen ink speeds it up and the red sharpie works like a wall that the cars bounce off of. Click the eraser to clear the whole screen and reset.

12xPaint

You've seen this done with the arrow keys...but this one uses the mouse! A paint program that uses 12 brushes at once. CONTROLS: Mouse Button - Pen Up/Down Up/Down Arrows - Pen Size Left/Right Arrows - Background Space - Relocate Center to Mouse Position 1 - Clear Screen 2 - Hide/Show Pens H - Help - Shows the controls NOTES: The biggest problem was making the pen sprites shrink down really small when the pen size was small. Scratch seems to have a lower limit on how small a sprite can be. I ended up having to make a series of special small costumes for the pen sprites for when the pen size was 5 or less.

Ramsay

You play as Ramsay the robot. Your goal is to get to the 'END'. Play through my 100% original levels and through other's cool levels too! RULES OF THE GAME ============ Move using the arrow keys. Move into blocks to push them. Wooden blocks will create a bridge if pushed into water. Metal blocks will sink in water but will not form a bridge. Sponge blocks cannot sink in water. Blocks must be 100% in water to sink. ============ To make your own level go to this link: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Colkadome/247210 This will be a big game guys, maybe about 50 levels or less :) Look out for changes in this update tag if you don't own the latest version: UPDATE 12 New in Update: -Additional level with a weird shaped cross block in it.

Virtual Lizard

Take care of your lizard! Every two minutes he poops, needs to be feed, needs to get water, needs a treat to up his heath, and needs Slime Coat +. When he poops, you go to the clean button and click it and it should go away. Give him a treat by clicking the treat button.Harrypottergal helped with it so please give her some credit!!LOL!!!!And plz dont remix you can if you have my permission and i will look at the comments on it and say what u need to do

turret defense

take down as many planes as you can. use arrow keys to control the turret, and space to fire. your cockpit shows you your planes hit, your turret height and direction, your damage, your damage idicator (when damage is critical), and your radar. post your score at the end of the game. don't forget to click love it. also try my new carnival games.

Scrolling Mario Galaxy Demonstration

This is a remix of my project "the ruler of the world" it also uses script from my project "new scrolling method". Yes, you can make a scrolling mario galaxy game and this is how its done. It would be awesome if someone could remix this into a cool game.

Spin Scratch's new 3d tank!

See how fast you can spin Scratch's tank. Just click and drag to the right or left then let go. Grabbing it while the mouse is still, stops it. The model is for a 3d tank game I'm working on. Don't worry, it shoots mostly harmless hair balls. When it's done, I'll release the source files. The art was made with a free 3d program called Blender, available from blender.org. It has A TON to learn, it's interface is very different. If you want to learn. I'd suggest watching the video tutorials and getting help in the forum. I think would have learned 3d much faster if I had those tools when I started learning about 10 years ago. Do you want to make your own spinable 3d objects? Love this and I'll make a tutorial, and setup files that will make it easier to spin your own 3d models in Scratch. I'd be honored if anyone was able to use any of my work in their project. Please don't just copy- try to make something new from it and at least give me a little credit in your project notes. To whoever designed the Scratch cat: awesome job!
